Chapter 99 – Ranchi Encounters the Unreasonable Martial Arts Faction
On top of the dimly lit cabin, the faint light flickered momentarily, like a Cyclops watching all this, its blinking eyes seeming to foretell the conflict that was about to detonate.

“No matter how many times you announce it again the result will be the same.”

“We will not yield to power or trickery, and if you wish to dismantle it, you will try it through force.”

The big sister in the lead, Zirviny, said nothing, only her eyes went cold and she clenched her fists, rather forcefully refusing to negotiate at all.

“Students, we need to consider the safety of the residents of the royal capital while enjoying our campus life.”

Ranch coughed lightly twice and said in a friendly manner that
“According to the Houghton Kingdom Fire Safety Law, if one is not the owner of a house but insists on obstructing a state-planned demolition and organization project, one will be liable to be detained for more than fifteen days and fined more than a hundred pounds, and our intention is only to consult with you in a friendly manner, and we don’t wish to attract the enforcement force of the Houghton Kingdom’s Fire Department… …”

Just as Rancic was pontificating, the atmosphere in the ministry room gradually turned saber-rattling.

The group of grunts were completely unfazed by it.

Even if they would really be detained, they would never be deterred by Ranchi’s words today.

All in all, it was that they would rather be broken than destroyed.

Ranqi then stopped talking as well.

Because he realized that the Knights’ Academy side seemed to have the potential to be extra-legal fanatics, and didn’t apply the same logic of reasoning as their Sage Academy.

Inside the arena, a certain tipping point was reached, as if the next statement from both sides would determine the direction of today’s events.

However.

Frey nodded toward Rancic, meaning to just leave it to him.

The two exchanged a quick glance, as if they both understood something.

Frey took off his sunglasses and hung them on his chest, and rather sensibly raised his hand, pointing at the Knight Academy School Sister Tsilviny who was in the lead, and said:

“Since you think that we are using power to oppress you, then if I convince you without any ploys and by strength, will you still find excuses to stay here and continue to desecrate the soul of martial arts and shamelessly obstruct the work of the student council?”

“What did you say ……?!”

When the fighters within the department room heard these words, each and every one of them seemed to be enraged by him, veins popping up on their brains.

Even the woman with the long crimson hair, Zirviny, had her fists clenched.

“Heh heh heh ……”

The leader of the fighters, Tsirviny, laughed coldly, and at the sixth rank, her gaze was as furious as a knife blade.

“Are you guys planning to defeat us through a duel?”

The Knight Academy did have a way to settle disputes, and that was a fair duel.

As long as both parties agreed and chose to have a battle that bet on the soul of martial arts, then no matter what conditions were promised they had to be willing to gamble.

“Of course, let’s solve the problem the way knights do.”

Upon hearing that, Frey’s mouth, which was originally shaped in a single line, finally turned up slightly, revealing a smile of absolute confidence, and

“Although it might be a bit of a blow to say this, there’s no denying that none of you can defeat this grand master.”

His arrogant words echoed in the dimly lit arena, while his gaze looked straight at the strongest female, clearly ready for any possible battle.

Boom!
Frey’s words were drowned out by a loud bang as Zirviny stomped her foot heavily on the floor, the entire wooden house shook and dust rose up as a result, and the sense of oppression emanating from her surroundings was as terrifying as that of a giant beast.

“You’re Frey, aren’t you …… the number one freshman in the Knight Academy this year. I’ve heard of you, a genius with fourth rank strength at the time of admission, but you’re foolish enough not to realize the absolute power gap between you and a strong person like me.”

Tsilviny seemed to have been enraged by him, and “Retract your arrogant statement, kneel down and apologize to me here, and I can still let you go.”

Frey revealed a confused expression as he cast a compassionate gaze at the fighter schoolmate and sighed softly, the

“You’re pushing back like this, are you afraid to challenge me?”

His tone was filled with helplessness, as if he had already seen through the true meaning of martial arts and the level where the other party was at, the opposite party, Zsilvienne, seemed as if she was merely struggling, and her anger and hostility all seemed insignificant in his eyes.

“…… Me? Challenge you?”

Tsilviny laughed back in anger, then raked the crimson hair in front of her forehead, and the corner of her mouth brought up a hint of a sardonic smile.

“Have the balls to …… just so we can amuse ourselves now.”

“One person from each side, if you win, I’ll put the ministry on both hands. –But!”

“If you lose, you’ll never bother us again, and you’ll have to deal with the school and fire hall side back on your own!”

Hearing Zlviny’s unreasonable demands, Huberian subconsciously grabbed the corner of Ranch’s coat, her gaze clearly showing that she wanted Ranch to stop Frey.

Once they lost, the responsibility and the price was not something that the three new members of their student council could make and bear!

However, Ranchi only nodded slightly to Huberian, his face calm, as if everything was still within his grasp.

“Okay, I have no problem with that.”

Frey replied bluntly to Zirviny’s challenge.

“And you two agree?”

Zsilvienne turned her head to Ranch and Huberian beside Frey, not really wanting some situation to arise later where she would have to resist because the student council members didn’t see eye-to-eye.

“I will witness this friendly cut.”

Rancic replied in his elegant and calm demeanor, with a sense of propriety.

His voice was filled with a sense of authority that had gone beyond the student council, as if he were a principal passing through the area, improvising justice for his classmates.

“I also …… agree.”

Huberian finally looked at Ranch again and responded with a clench of her teeth.

“Hahahahaha, you three insouciant fools!”

Hearing that the three were in agreement, Zirviny laughed out loud, as if she had already won.

“Let me do it.”

Frey and his partners smiled at each other, he looked calm and determined, like a veteran of the battlefield, his demeanor carrying his unique perseverance and faint confidence.

“No problem, please.”

Ranch wasn’t very good at this kind of solo fighting in the ring, he often needed to have the help of his teammates, and although Huberian was a fourth rank assassin, she wasn’t very good at dealing with high ranked fighters.

Huberian wasn’t sure about Frey’s fighting style, but she had noticed earlier that Ranch and Frey had made eye contact for a brief moment.

It seemed like it was from there that they both started singing in unison as if they understood something.

What was this marvelous sense of tacit understanding going on …… Was there a squad voice that didn’t pull her in?
