Chapter 891: The Missing Stuart

Chapter 878 – The Missing Stuart

“Is this …… Stuart’s soul?!”

Saul was shocked.

Just now, he had consumed a great deal of mental energy and finally got his fate line close to the location that was emanating abnormal fluctuations. Instead, the front end of the fate line entered a new square corridor.

Although there were no eyes, from the perception received, it was exactly the same as the Lost Cloister that Saul was currently in, and there wasn’t even the slightest difference in the length of each corridor.

The thread of fate lingered here for just a moment before sensing a familiar spirit, or rather a familiar force of fate approaching.

He waited for a moment and realized that the visitor was actually someone he recognized.

“Stuart?”

Saul was a little surprised, and nearly couldn’t maintain the already thin threads of fate.

“How did Stuart’s soul get here?”

Saul intersected his fate line with the other side, and found that it was indeed a familiar flavor to him.

“If Stuart is hosting his soul here in Frim like Royer, then why is Frim delaying resurrecting him?”

“No, Stuart is a member of the Black Inferno Empire, there’s no way Aero would tolerate having Frim resurrect Stuart. Unless he doesn’t intend to revive Stuart again.”

When resurrecting a person, there were multiple ways to continue controlling that person in the aftermath. So once Stuart was resurrected by Frim, it meant that the other party was likely controlling Stuart in secret.

It was also impossible for Frim to secretly resurrect Stuart and then send him there.

A person who has just been revived is not in the same state as one who has been seriously injured.

The difference was obvious when Royer was first seen. It was the first time Saul had seen someone who had just been revived, and the next time, he would be able to recognize what state someone who had just been revived was in.

Frim had clearly found Stuart’s soul, but had not given it to Elohim to revive. There must have been something he was hiding from Aero as well.

“The hidden dangers within the Judgment Court can also be utilized.”

Such a huge organization could not be ironclad internally. Saul was now surrounded in this iron cage and could only look for cracks in it.

Saul tried to get Stuart’s attention, but found that he didn’t have much of a reaction. Like a muddled zombie wandering in the square corridor.

“Stuart is not in the right state!”

Saul realized this when his fate line finally couldn’t hold on and could only slowly back away from the opposite side.

Somewhat disengaged, he returned to his soft pink couch and lay down, looking into the ghostly depths of the ceiling-less hallway above him.

“Stuart …… seems to have had his consciousness forcibly searched. What on earth is Frim doing this to Stuart?”

Saul’s hand kept tapping on the armrest of the couch, “Frim wouldn’t be scouring my consciousness as well, would he?”

If this really happened, Saul could only use the diary to hide from Frim’s exploration of his spiritual world for the time being.

As for utilizing a consciousness platform to fight back against Frim …… he hadn’t even thought about it.

Even Ophelia, the weakest of the fourth order, could easily leave from Saul’s consciousness platform, and Frim would be even less affected.

That would instead make it easy for Saul to expose his secrets.

However, Saul could use the diary to cover his hidden secrets.

Thinking of this, Saul immediately started making preparations.

Although he found a Stuart who was of little use, it also let Saul know what aspects he should defend against Flim, so it wasn’t fruitless after all.

While Saul continued to plan for his departure from the Lost Cloisters, in the far north of the Stat Continent, outside the Wall of Sighs, the fourth-ranked sorcerer Murphy instantly moved to a remote and secluded sorcerer’s tower.

When his figure appeared, a sorcerer apprentice immediately walked out from the sorcerer tower.

“Lord Murphy.” Haywood bowed respectfully, but his face was in a difficult position, “Lord Golza said that he is in deep meditation, recuperating from his injuries, and can’t come out for a short period of time.”

This was clearly the meaning of not seeing the guest.

By a third-order sorcerer having a sorcerer apprentice say it to a fourth-order sorcerer. Anyone else could simply be scolded for not knowing what to do.

But the other party was Golza.

Murphy could only let out a sigh.

Get used to it.

“I know Gortha’s probably not in a good mood right now.”

No one would be in a good mood after losing a promotion. Even a very difficult three-in-four.

I’m sure that with Golza’s pride, it’s hard to accept his defeat.

However, Murphy still wanted to meet Golza once, “Tell your master that Saul is now being held by the Judgment Court, and the other party is most likely coming for him.”

Haywood looked up in shock and met Murphy’s calm eyes with emotion in them.

“Saul …… Why are the people of the Judgment Court holding Saul?”

Although Saul is now a third-order sorcerer, a height that Haywood, an apprentice with no hope of becoming a full-fledged sorcerer, cannot help but worry about Saul.

After all, he knew very well how much Golza valued Saul.

Murphy did not answer Heywood’s question. Even if he was a recognized valiant and great fourth-ranked sorcerer, the most important pillar of the Wall of Sighs, he would not easily answer a sorcerer apprentice’s question.

Haywood immediately realized his abruptness and hurriedly went back to report this matter to Golza.

Who would have thought that Golza still had no intention of coming out to see Murphy.

A few moments later, Haywood walked out with an even more awkward expression than before.

“Lord Murphy, I’m very sorry, Mentor Golza is currently in a very poor state and is unable to come out to see you.”

Murphy frowned slightly.

Haywood continued, “In addition …… he also asked me to pass on to you, Saul’s matter, let him deal with it by himself, mentor him, he is not Saul’s father.”

This sentence was already quite nonchalant.

Although the intention was to say Saul, but in the face of Murphy the person who delivered the message was also very offensive.

Fortunately, Murphy didn’t get angry, he just shook his head and left the last sentence.

“Fine. But you tell Golza that not everyone can tolerate his capriciousness. Also, don’t lock yourself up if you fail to advance, I can give him a year’s vacation to go out and look around, you can miss out on a lot of knowledge by just staying in the wizard’s tower.”

After saying that, Wizard Murphy’s figure disappeared.

Haywood’s figure gave out and nearly sat on the ground.

Although just now Murphy Wizard had never had any obvious change in his complexion, his body’s aura still pressed Haywood’s brain to the point of exploding.

He hurriedly returned to Golza’s wizard tower, which made him feel much more comfortable.

Then, he raised his eyes and saw Golza.

This Golza, who was supposed to be in a bad mood and eccentric, had his head tilted at this moment, and actually had a smile on his face.

“Mentor.” Haywood hurriedly lowered his head, in the recent years, he had become more and more afraid to look directly at his mentor.

Perhaps Murphy was right, Golza was not his mentor, but his master.

“I don’t need others to tolerate it.”

Golza’s voice came out with a smirk.

“Murphy’s right though, it’s time for me to get out and about. There’s a lot to miss by just staying in the Wizard’s Tower.”
