Chapter 529: A Drop for You

Chapter 529 Sending you a drop

“You come down.”

After about five minutes, when Saul was almost asleep, the old hag finally made her decision.

“You come down and perform the transformation experiment for me.”

Saul opened his eyes and sat up with one hand on the lab table.

He was a little surprised.

Although whatever the old hag subsequently chose would not be a loss to him, the fact that the other party had the courage to actually choose to lie down on the experimental table himself still surprised Saul a little.

At the same time, he also had a deeper perception of the old witch’s character.

She was irascible, cruel, and somewhat arrogant.

But she had actually dared to lie down on a lab table and let others transform her body!
But the old hag wouldn’t easily hand over her life to strangers either.

As soon as she pulled over Saul’s cuffs, she suddenly pulled off the pinky from the end of her hair and then pressed it next to Saul’s right pinky.

The twitching, severed limb then sprouted several thin, fleshy wings at the severed cross-section. They first tentatively touched Saul’s palm, and then drilled down the pores of the palm with a big grin, before fixing the severed limb at the root of Saul’s palm.

It was as if he had grown a sixth finger.

Saul curiously moved his fingers and realized that the severed limb was not under his control.

“What are the chances of success for this transformation experiment?”

The old hag lay down on the lab table, her voice still inevitably trembling.

“If it’s you who operates it, it’s about fifty percent, and if it’s me on my own, it’s about ninety percent.”

The old hag felt that Saul was scolding himself.

She stared sideways at Sol grimly, “Since you’re so confident, I’ll give you this chance. Remember, if I die, that severed limb will quickly take your life as well. And I guarantee that you will definitely die a more painful death than me! A hundred times more painful!”

Saul smiled, no longer paying attention to the extra finger on his hand, “Don’t worry, this experiment, I’m familiar with it.”

The old hag closed her eyes, and from her lightly fluttering eyelids, one could tell that she was actually nervous.

But for some urgent reason, she gave up on re-collecting the witchcraft materials and chose to risk her life.

“Maybe it has something to do with what Ochreli said about the wind demon and the pursuit of the Firefly Lord. Does the old witch think she’s about to be caught?”

Saul sped up his movements, he didn’t want to be in the middle of an experiment and have someone barge in and interrupt him.

However, just as Saul held the knife against the old hag’s forehead, a sudden change occurred!

The old hag who was originally lying on the experimental table waiting for her fate to be judged with her eyes closed suddenly opened her eyes.

She took hold of Saul’s wrist.

“Ka-ching!”

Saul heard the sound of his wrist being crushed.

The sharp knife came out of Saul’s hand helplessly and slid down the old witch’s skin, leaving a red mark.

That red mark then bled out a little bit of even brighter red blood.

Saul held his limp wrist and collected all his expressions, “If you back out, just say so.”

But the old hag just looked over at him cross-eyed.

In an instant, Saul felt all the air around him freeze.

It was as if he was frozen into a huge block of ice.

Unable to move.

Couldn’t breathe.

Can’t even roll my eyes.

He was imprisoned in a cloud of air!

But it was the old hag’s next action that shocked him even more.

Only to see the old hag pick up the braid of thinning hair at the back of her head with one hand, and pick up the knife that had fallen on the lab bench with the other.

She then recited an inexplicable incantation and used the knife a little bit, back and forth from side to side – as if she was sharing a steak in a Western-style meal – to slit her own neck.

A large amount of blood erupted like a spewing volcano.

The old hag’s head was instantly dyed red.

But her eyes remained calm.

The left hand carrying the head even began to move slowly.

She slowly moved the head above the perfect torso base material, and then slowly loosened her five fingers as if she was slow to react.

Thud!
The blood-stained head fell into the barrel. Saul was shocked beyond words at this point.

While conducting experiments day and night as well as material modulation, he had envisioned many possibilities, but none of them were the old hag taking the initiative to cut off her own head and then throwing it directly into the experimental materials.

“What the hell happened?”

Saul moved his eyes with difficulty, trying to see what had happened to the head that had fallen into the barrel.

But he couldn’t move a muscle right now, and the scene in the barrel was completely invisible from his current angle.

After the old hag’s head fell into the barrel, her raised left hand also slowly dropped, and finally her whole headless body fell backward helplessly.

This is the reaction of a body that has lost its head.

After glancing at the headless body, Saul did not shift his gaze.

He continued to look hard at the barrel.

Intuition told him that something must be happening there.

“Has the old hag been able to survive briefly with only her head?”

Although some of the second-order witches had special bodies, and some of them didn’t even have a human form, they still couldn’t live with just a head yet, having not yet gotten rid of the shackles of life and death.

Therefore after seeing the old witch’s movements, Saul even wondered if she had already entered the third order?
But if that was the case, there was no need for her to take the risk of being transformed at all. There was even no need to hide from the Firefly Lord and Wind Demon, who were also Third Order witches.

Gradually, Saul began to feel choked and suffocated.

The old witch had solidified the air around him, making it impossible for him to even breathe.

If the old witch died, Saul, who was unable to undo the witchcraft, might actually suffocate to death with her.

But the diary hadn’t hinted at it yet.

Finally, the barrel being stared at by Saul began to shake. It was as if a violent reaction to the witchcraft was happening inside.

The reaction in the barrel became more and more violent, and the bottom of the shaking barrel kept banging against the metal test bench with a clanking sound.

Finally, as Saul was holding his face blue, a small, delicate hand suddenly appeared on the edge of the barrel.

The hand was as small as if it were an infant less than a week old. The newborn skin was still slightly red.

One hand appeared followed by another on the opposite side of the barrel.

The two hands then exerted force together, and the baby-sized hand burst out with several high raised veins.

“She …… is coming out!” Saul narrowed his eyes and began to silently calculate in his mind.

As the baby-like short and delicate arm began to exert force, the small arm connected by the wrist, the elbow, and the big arm …… appeared a little bit in front of Saul.

It was followed by the head.

There was no change, it was still the old witch’s horrible and weird face.

But that’s what’s scary.

An ugly old woman’s face growing on a baby’s body!
The old hag looked at her hands and body, and a smile of satisfaction finally appeared on her expressionless face.

She then said to Saul, who was trapped in the air, “Your improved program is even more excellent than what I originally envisioned.”

She rested her arm on the edge of the barrel, with her huge, highly mismatched arm’s head resting on top of it.

It looked so laid back.

Or maybe the head was just too heavy.

“As a thank you for what you’ve done, I can let you choose your own way to die.”

She waved her baby-like arm and unlocked the air confinement near Sol’s head.

Saul took a deep breath, only to be slightly relieved of the pain of oxygen deprivation as the air in his chest remained frozen, making it impossible to breathe properly at all.

“If you don’t talk, I’ll still choose to suffocate you. That way you can die a more complete death.”

Saul carefully replaced his breath and raised his eyes to the old hag in the barrel.

“So it’s not a witch body transformation you want, but a direct body swap.” Saul looked at the excited and agitated old hag and tried to calm himself down.

The old hag, however, did not intend to discuss this new body with Saul, “Looks like you gave up on that opportunity.”

Sol, however, shook his head before the other man could do it again, “No, not giving up. Maybe before executing me, you can double check that this body …… really has no problems?”

The old hag was instantly on guard. However, when he checked the torso again, he still didn’t find any problems.

“Trying to protect yourself by assuming a hidden danger? Do you think I can’t discover the means of a first-order witch?”

Saul wasn’t in a hurry, “It’s not the means of a first order sorcerer, it’s the land of no master. Or you can hear for yourself the sound of water flowing in …… your body.”
