Chapter 525. Three days.
Chapter 525 Three Days
Once she heard it was allergies, the old hag’s frown relaxed a lot.
“His body is too weak, it’s normal that he can’t carry the transformation.” The old hag touched her bright red mouth, “I’ll go bring the giants and barbarians here. I hope their innately strong bodies can resist the allergy.”
After the old hag left for the second time, Ochili came over to help Sol move the dead wizards to the scrap area.
As a result, he saw that Saul was harvesting skin, blood, and some of the bones from the dead.
“What are you doing?”
“I want to check for allergens.”
Ochli pressed a hand on Sol’s wrist and whispered, “What, you really want to help her finish her experiment?”
Saul broke away from Ochili, “If you’re going to do a play, please do the whole thing.”
Ouchli was stunned, he suddenly felt that the Saul in front of him didn’t seem to be as naive as he thought.
Did he just …… teach him a lesson in turn?
A surge of anger surged up in Ouchili’s heart. This anger was more due to the fact that he was surprisingly not as well thought out as a child, but the ultimate object of venting was still the young wizard in front of him.
“You should be more concerned with your own progress!” Ochili snorted coldly and backed away.
Thor noticed that he walked away and then went to take it upon himself to dispose of the materials in the scrap area.
Ochili hadn’t been too forthcoming with his experiments lately, but he had been proactive whenever he dealt with the scraps.
Saul gently moved the magic mirror to observe Ochli’s movements with the help of the reflection.
A moment later, a glimmer of realization flashed in his eyes. He smiled slightly, and then quickly collected himself.
Soon the old hag brought both the giant and the barbarian.
They came in with a glance at the bodies on the lab table.
The giant’s first reaction was to turn and try to run, but the old hag took out her wooden stick and smacked the giant on the ankle.
The old hag hit him especially hard this time. The giant’s entire ankle broke off and was missing a piece, as if it had been eaten by the wooden stick.
With a broken foot, the already weak giant flopped to the ground, no longer having the strength to run away.
The old witch carried the giant’s intact leg and dragged the man into the laboratory.
The giant was more than three meters tall, but in the old witch’s hands, he was like a baby that was powerless to struggle.
The barbarian on the other side didn’t escape. He stayed muddled, like he had lost his mind.
After the giant wailed and was thrown onto the lab table, and then wailed and died due to an allergic reaction, the barbarian suddenly started dancing.
He took turns raising his right and left legs high, high-fiving his hands above his head, slapping his chest, and whimpering.
It was only then that Saul realized that the barbarian no longer had a tongue in his mouth.
Barbarians usually believe in ancient gods. These gods were not the omnipotent beings in storybooks, but were just powerful people from the last era or even earlier. How powerful they were is not known now, and they have been lost to history anyway.
Presumably, this barbarian’s tongue was sacrificed to the god he believed in when he was captured by the old hag.
When the old witch walked towards the barbarian again, the latter finally finished his dance, and then tore off his right ear hard and threw it into the sky.
Before the bloody ear could fall, however, it was shattered by the old hag with a lift of her finger using sorcery.
The ceremony was not completed.
Though it wouldn’t have helped even if the barbarian had been allowed to complete it.
The old hag threw the barbarian, who was like a deflated balloon, onto the lab table.
Saul looked at the patterns on the barbarian’s body, felt a little familiar, and wanted to write it down, but the old hag was already impatiently tapping her fingers on the experimental table.
“Hurry up! Continue!”
Saul was silent, and began to introduce the “dough” into the barbarian’s body. Soon the barbarian also experienced an allergic reaction, but unlike the first two, he did not die quickly. But unlike the first two, he didn’t die soon. He just fell into a coma after the most intense red spot reaction.
Such a change caused both the old hag and Ochili to come together.
“Is this a success?” The old hag was a little excited.
But Saul didn’t think so, “It just seems like there is a possibility of success so far. But not high. It also depends on whether he can eventually pull through.”
A smile finally appeared on the old witch’s face, “Keep an eye out, if this barbarian dies. Let Ochili go up next.”
Behind him, Ochili’s legs weakened and he almost didn’t sit on the ground.
Because of the need to observe and keep the barbarian alive, Saul and Ochili were once again allowed to stay outside after today’s experiment.
The old hag, on the other hand, went next door to rest.
Ochili continued to work on the scraps.
But halfway through processing, he suddenly looked at Saul with crimson eyes, “How much longer do you need?”
Saul was examining the rest of his petri dishes, looking in no hurry at all, seemingly so engrossed in his research that he completely forgot that the next one would be his turn on the lab bench.
“Three days.”
Ochli lowered his head, his body shaking slightly, “You don’t have three days. I have even less.”
Thor pulled out the body tissue he had collected from the barbarian with the worst allergies, “No, we do.”
By the time the old hag was rested, it would have been the next day.
She was still grim, and the broken finger at the back of her head throbbed.
As soon as she came in, the old hag didn’t hesitate to point the wooden stick in her hand at Ochili, “You, go up!”
Ochili shuddered and looked at Saul.
If it wasn’t for Saul’s vow last night that he could still buy three more days, he would have acted last night.
Luckily, Saul still stood up as promised.
“Old witch, in the previous three people’s experiments, I found that there is still room for improvement in the perfect body ……”
“Then improve it directly on Ochili, I don’t have time to wait for you guys to study it more slowly.”
After a night, the other party seemed more anxious.
Sol took out a test tube and held it in front of him, “There is no point in repeating failed steps. Multiple experiments are meant to help us fix our mistakes, not improve our success rate.”
Before the old witch was about to swing her wooden stick at herself, Saul immediately said, “I only need ten days to complete the improvement of the program. Although it is Ochili and I who are on the lab bench this time, the person who will ultimately undergo the witch body transformation is still yourself, isn’t it?”
Watching the old witch fall into hesitation, Ouchli hurriedly scrunched his neck in supplication as well, “We only need three days. Even if you don’t trust me, you should trust Saul. He is a genius in this area! He can definitely increase the success rate to a point acceptable to you.”
The old hag grimaced and narrowed her eyes at Saul, “What is that in your hand?”
“It is the body tissue of the barbarian with the most severe allergies. Through analysis, I have found a way to alleviate the allergy phenomenon, but I still need a few more experiments, and if possible, I need to create ten data control groups to ensure the accuracy of the experiment.”
The room fell silent, and Ochre’s intensity was second to none.
After the extremely difficult three minutes, the old witch finally spoke, “You don’t have ten days, I will only give you three days, the control group …… is up to five groups, I will go to arrest people now.”
The old witch flashed away.
Ouchli breathed a sigh of relief and hurriedly held onto the table, nearly falling over for real.
Saul turned around and patted Ochili on the shoulder, “Now is not the time to relax, let’s get on with the final experiment.”
