Chapter 514.

Chapter 514 – Water in the Brain
In the middle of a lush forest, there was an ancient tree with a large crown.

In the crown of this tree was a fine tree house.

Inside this tree house, there were strings of wind chimes hanging.

Cream colored shell wind chimes hang from the roof, along the windows and even under the seats.

The doors and windows of the rooms were tightly closed, as if they were afraid that a breeze would wake up the chimes in this room.

“Ding-snap!”

The slender silk thread suddenly snapped, and a cream-colored shell wind chime suddenly landed from mid-air and shattered.

The man lying on the hammock glanced sideways, then cast Mage’s Hand and picked up the shattered wind chime into his palm.

At that moment, someone gloated next to him and laughed, “One of your dreams, Clark, shattered.”

Clark, with his shaggy brown hair, squinted over as if he hadn’t woken up, “Oh, Kismet, when did you get here?”

“While you were talking in your sleep.” Kismet fiddled with the harp in his hand without making a sound.

“Oh.” Clark responded lazily again, dumping the broken wind chimes in his hand into his mouth like snack crumbs.

“Yawn~~”

Clark opened his mouth wide and let out a huge yawn.

As he opened his mouth, several colorful butterflies fluttered out of his throat. But when he closed his mouth, those butterflies were pulled back into his mouth by an invisible force.

“Doesn’t matter.” This was his answer to what Kismet had just said, “Dreams are shattered, just make another one.”

Suddenly, as if remembering something, Clark scratched his messy hair and said to Kismet, “When my dream bells are hung all over No Man’s Land, you’ll have to fulfill your promise and become the bell-tongue of my bells.”

Kismet gave a contemptuous laugh, “Herbert and Pelle aren’t even dead yet, and now you’re dreaming of becoming master of No Man’s Land?”

Clark lay back down again and said lazily, “Soon, I’ll be dragging Pelle into my dreams for good soon. Next up, Herbert.”

Kismet stretched the harp in his hand, turning it into a silver bone and tucking it along the orientation of his collarbone.

“Bless you then for being forever immersed in a beautiful phantasmagoria.” Kismet pulled a few hand flowers across her chest with one hand in an elegant curtain call.

When Kismet finished, her entire body was lost in a blinding white light.

Clark looked at the chair the other man had been sitting in, and with a flick of his index finger, the wooden chair transformed into several colorful butterflies that flew down to another chair.

“No means left behind. What did he make a special trip over for?”

Clark rested the back of his hand over his eyes, pondering the reason for Kismet’s sudden appearance.

Thinking about it made him fall back asleep.

……

Saul’s whole body lurched as he stepped into the wagon, and when he opened his eyes again, he found himself falling into an ocean.

“Wow …… Wow ……”

Saul didn’t react for a moment, and directly disappeared under the surface of the water.

The world under the water was pitch black, with only a vague light shining from the top of his head.

Saul spat out a string of bubbles, then adjusted his posture and paddled with both hands and feet together, swimming towards the surface.

“Whew!”

A few breaths later, Sol poked his head out of the water and took a deep breath.

“What is this place? How did I suddenly fall into the sea?” Saul maintained the movement of treading water and straightened his body to look around.

The sea was boundless, and there was no sign of land at all. The sea water was as black as ink, and the light transmission was poor.

This place was very similar to the once polluted Blue Water Bay sea, but the sea water was even darker than there, and the wind and waves were even greater.

Saul had only been floating for such a short while, and had already been slapped by the waves three times.

He wanted to cast a flight spell to make himself fly, but found that as soon as his magic power gathered, it was dispersed by the big waves that split his head.

“The seawater here actually strands and scatters magic power?” Saul tried calling out to several people from Agu, as well as Algae and Penny, but no one responded to him.

“What about spiritual power?” Sol didn’t give up, and dispersed his own spiritual power in all directions.

This time he succeeded, but in the next second, he was surprised to find that the sound of the waves seemed to have shifted to the inside of his head. When he shook his head, he felt as if there was liquid surging inside.

It was commonly known as water in the brain. “This water is a big problem. But what’s more critical now is how did I get here and how do I get back?”

The sound of the waves in his head grew louder and louder, and had begun to disturb Saul with a vague headache.

Sol withdrew his own mental energy and began to focus inward to examine his body.

“No!” Upon this inspection Saul discovered the problem, “This isn’t my body, it should be my consciousness. Could it be that I’ve entered the illusionary realm again?”

Ever since he started to delve into his soul, Saul always encountered witches and shenanigans that haunted illusions, as if these guys were originally running towards him.

The headache began to intensify, and just trying to float on the surface became incredibly difficult.

“Wow ……”

Another large wave, snapping Saul directly into the sea below.

And he was starting to lose control of his limbs due to his headache and even his headache.

Saul called out for the diary again, but this time the diary didn’t appear either.

He became anxious and tried to surface first, but was once again swept towards the bottom by the dark current.

“This won’t work, I’ll stay passive if this keeps up. Must find my home ground ……”

“Home ground?”

At that thought, Saul snapped his eyes open and opened his mouth wide under the sea, sticking his tongue out regardless of the salty seawater that was desperately trying to pour down his throat.

He raised his hand and touched his tongue, clearly feeling the sorcerous spell patterns on it.

“Consciousness platform!”

In the next moment, a circular stone platform suddenly appeared underneath Saul, and the same sorcery spell formations as those on Saul’s tongue were drawn on the floor of the platform.

The stone platform then began to rise, taking Sol along with it as it broke out of the sea.

The black water flowed down the perimeter of the stone platform, and no matter how big the wind and waves were, they were powerless to stop the platform from rising.

But the black sea didn’t give up its pursuit of Sol either. Its angry will transformed into a monstrous wave that rose high and then fell heavily, seemingly wanting to crush the entire platform.

However, the round platform was clearly without any support in the midst of the huge waves, but it was still rising at an even speed.

However, when the platform rose to a distance of about ten meters from the surface of the sea, it came to a stop and hovered in mid-air.

The high waves raised by the sea crossed the height of the platform every now and then, heavily slapping Sol in the face.

In order not to be directly lifted off by the huge waves, Saul had been lying on his back on the round platform.

Although he was covered in wounds, Saul was now not as powerless as he was just now.

He wiped his face, “Sure enough, this is my Consciousness World, so the platform can appear directly underneath me. But what does the black seawater that invaded my Consciousness World represent? Is it Claude’s contamination, or has a new enemy appeared?”

The waves still hadn’t given up on pulling Sol down, but its will seemed to understand that relying on the waves alone would not be able to drag someone down.

As a result, a few stars began to appear on the bottom of the sea.

These shadows were blurry, but were floating upwards at an extremely fast speed.

Saul, however, was clinging to the center of the platform in order not to be knocked off the platform by the waves, and didn’t notice the change in the seawater.

Even because the waves hadn’t been able to help him, Saul was still thinking in between headaches.

“The platform is there, where’s the diary?”

He rolled over with effort and suddenly realized that the diary was above him, floating silently.

The pages were open, only Saul couldn’t see what was on them now.

Nonetheless, the wretched Saul still revealed a smile, “That’s right, this is my space of consciousness.”

He crossed over to the diary and looked high into the sky once again, “Then there should still be stars!”

Just as Saul realized this, the originally pitch-black sky unexpectedly had countless more stars in an instant.

Those stars twinkled like countless eyes blinking lightly.

It was also at this time that the shadow that was already about to float up to the surface of the sea suddenly braked sharply, and then at a faster speed, sank down to the sea.

It was as if it was running away!
