252.Chapter 252 – Changes in the Instinct Room
Chapter 252 – Changes in the Room of Instinct
Just as quickly, Attilicia realized that she had miscalculated due to her lack of understanding of the psychic slavers’ social habits:
It was not known if it was because of the different races, but this group of psychic slave laborers had actually transported him and Belkin in two separate directions on their way to transport them.
The two slightly confused fellows had to exchange glances with each other, signaling to continue with the previously agreed upon plan.
That is, the old dwarf Belkin was responsible for utilizing David’s ‘Spiritual Energy Protection Jewelry’, which was similar to ‘Yiwu Wholesale’, to liberate the slave imprints and create chaos within the city.
Atilicia, on the other hand, took advantage of the chaos to find a way to try to sneak into the master brain room to steal the master brain of this spirit sucker lair.
As for David and the others outside the city, they tried to buy as much time as possible for their operation.
This was the ‘infiltration plan’ that David came up with as a result of beating up ‘Red Dragon Ancestor’ Christos for Brittany, and it was so simple and crude that it made people want to curse.
The only thing that made them a little speechless was that the object of this plan was placed on the Spirit Sucker, and it did seem to have a certain degree of maneuverability.
This is not, David and their three red dragons continue to approach the big melee, almost the entire main city of the senior management to lure out.
And that powerful dragon’s breath even made their original most difficult infiltration turn into a simple mode of ‘lying in’.
Only the purpose of being transported, well, not so free.
The old dwarf Belkin’s luck was quite good.
He found himself directly thrown in the lower city rift slavers nest, inside a glance, all ‘enthusiastic’ Dwarf good brothers.
They were singing at the top of their lungs while waving their mining hoes in the fissure mines, and Belkin even saw two dead dwarves talking about love in the mines like no one was watching.
As if they are not enslaved by the spirit sucker, but still living the old miner’s life.
Even, they once seemed to forget the fact that they are a gray dwarf.
Belkin of course understood that this was the power of [Psychic Memory Weaving] and [Suggestion Technique].
Perhaps in the eyes of these gray dwarves, the familiar world hadn’t changed too much, and even those Spirit Suckers, in their eyes, were nothing more than arrogant upper-class dwarven nobles, and whenever they found some ‘abnormal and incomprehensible thinking loopholes’, they would quickly muddle through the memories due to [Suggestive Technique].
“Oh, what a bunch of poor little guys, I, for one, will help you all get relief.” Thanks to the simplicity of the plan set by David, Belkin, who had long since become a Legend, didn’t have to do that kind of foolhardy infiltration mission, but instead, he could just throw out sacks of anti-psychic magic trinkets, ready to start a great slave labor riot for the sake of freedom and democracy.
“What’s this stuff? Bro?” A hospitable foreman picked up an antipsychic silver spike.
“It’s from the mercy of the Dwarf god Moradin, boy.” Belkin lowered his eyes into a complex smile.
He understood with uncanny clarity that when these poor gray dwarves ‘knew all’, they were also more than likely approaching the end of their lives.
There weren’t many mortals that would survive the ensuing legendary melee.
The souls of the enslaved and fooled were cleansed, and perhaps their only salvation was instead.
At the same time, Atilicia, who was being transported to the other side of the world, was gradually noticing the difference:
“Where exactly are these guys taking themselves?”
Just as Atilicia was considering whether or not to take the risk of being detected by the infiltration operation, the sound of moaning began to pour into his ears as he passed through an archway painted red along with the psionic slave laborers who were transporting him.
Instinctively raising his head, a somewhat stunned Artilicia stared in disbelief at the countless small spaces divided by the blood-red drapery, where a female lay in front of each compartment, some of them female dwarves, and more often than not, draconians.
The former was a breeding machine to perpetuate the number of dwarves, while the latter was purely an instinctive release tool used to ease the mental state of slave labor.
It was not until this moment that Atilicia finally understood why the Drow who were sent to the City of Molten Steel to ‘investigate’ had never returned, as she had heard from the two Drow guards when they were imprisoned in the Spider’s Nest City.
All of them were used as ‘corporate welfare’ by this group of Spirit Sucking Monsters.
And he was about to be next!
That’s… That’s fucked up!
The two underground orc psionic slave laborers who had escorted him yanked a Drell, who looked clearly played out and couldn’t stop giggling with his tongue out, off the wall of the compartment and onto the mine cart, then replaced ‘her’ with an intact Drell consumable.
“Ah! Next time I turn into a female Drell I’m an idiot!”
Finally beginning to feel remorse for his particular shapeshifting proclivities, Attilicia was just about to rebel and find another way to do it, when a powerful sweep of mental power stopped him instinctively in his tracks.
He saw a Spirit Sucking Monster with six striking tentacles standing in mid-air as if it was searching for something, and this horrifying discovery instantly caused Atilicia’s body to nearly stiffen up:
”Spirit sucker consul? Wasn’t this guy lured out just now? How did he come back? And even here? Could it be that he was discovered? Damn it!”
And his taut state out of out-of-control nervousness also made the two underground orc psychic slave laborers who were fiddling with him misunderstand, and instantly smiled evilly and smacked Atilicia’s buttocks in wanton mockery:
“Looks like this new arrival is not bad, haha, this hasn’t even begun to get it and it’s already gone once, I’m going to have a taste of it later.”
‘!!!?’ Artelicia felt like she was going crazy!
Dragon born in the world, how had he, Attilicia, ever been so humiliated by a lowly creature!
But an incomparably powerful enemy was right in front of him, so he didn’t dare to make the slightest out-of-character move.
Luckily, the thing that worried him the most didn’t happen, or rather the development of things, completely exceeded his prior expectations.
As the Spirit Sucking Monster Consul, who looked vaguely anxious, raised his hand and clicked consecutively, more than a dozen humanoid creatures, including him, were ‘selected’, as if they were bound by an invisible tentacle, and flew towards the uppermost level of the fortress as they flew amidst the disappointing lamentations of the two orc slave laborers.
With a loud bang, the metal door to the upper level was opened and Atilicia found herself ‘coming’ steeply into a spacious and towering cavern.
Compared to the rest of the place, the architectural style belonging to the Dwarves was completely different here.
The walls were made entirely of smooth black stone, carved with strange runes and patterns that shimmered with an ethereal red color in the faint light, and there were occasional whispers of psychic energy in his head that made him feel uneasy.
In the center of the cave was a huge round stone container, filled with a faintly glowing liquid, on which floated hundreds of translucent jellyfish-like things.
Were those brains?
That was the brain of the elderly heart snatching demons!
He had heard long ago that those Heart Snatching Demons who were about to die or who died by accident would bring their brains back to the brain pool as a means of obtaining ‘salvation and eternal life’.
This was actually true?
But it seemed like it wasn’t entirely true.
Through those psychic whispers, how could Attilicia not realize that the brains of these elderly heart snatchers had long since lost their own solitary will?
They merged, or rather were completely consumed in unity by the mastermind.
Where else could Atilicia not know where she had been taken.
He had actually hit the ‘jackpot’ by mistake, and was directly taken by the famous Spirit Sucking Monster directly to the Spirit Sucking Monster’s lair, which was supposed to be the most tightly guarded and hardest to get into, inside the Brain Pool Room without any obstacles!
But he was undoubtedly also the most unlucky one, he was personally brought by the legendary spirit sucker consul for some unknown purpose. And it soon became clear to Attilicia, or to the humanoids who had been captured along with him, what the other side was up to.
“Ze na Sadua (heads flying!)” Accompanied by a burst of whispers in the language of the Spirit Suckers from the Spirit Suckers’ Consul, Abaidra.
With a poof in unison, half of the heads of the dozen humanoid creatures that were brought in were directly separated from their bodies, and flew directly into the brain pool with a residual twisted expression on their faces, to be entangled by those ‘spinal contacts’ with sharp teeth at the end that were sticking out of the ‘brain’ due to panic and anxiety. Sucked up.
‘.’ Attilicia, whose face was splattered with blood by the corpse beside her, was almost pissed on the spot!
It really was just a thought, just now, just because of the other party’s one thought, it nearly decided his life and death directly!
But the nightmare didn’t end, rather, it had just begun.
They, the fortunate victims, were all placed in a separate red pool tank at the mercy of the psychic touch, and as the sticky tentacles bound them all over their bodies, Abydra unlocked the [Suggestion Spell] on them.
He needed this dying fear.
Fear was the best spiritual food.
And the fear of humanoid creatures with spasms and convulsions of the brain out of fear will maximize the activation of their ‘life walk’.
This would also be the first lesson learned by the Spirit Sucker tadpoles as they descended into their bodies.
“Where the hell is this place?”
“Damn it! It’s a Spirit Sucker, no, my brain is going to be eaten!”
“Ah!!! Mom! I want to go home!”
And so the screams of terror began to rise and fall, eventually coming together in a chorus called Fear.
And so Atilicia, who had previously been afraid of revealing herself, also finally couldn’t hold herself together and began to let herself go, screaming with real emotion:
“Son of a bitch! Help me! I’m scared!
Even the Consul Abydra could not help but twist his head and look at him more than once when a Drow actually shouted out such words.
It was a good thing that in the eyes of this Spirit Absorbing Monster Consul, all of these containers in front of him were already dead.
Even if they had any secrets, they were already, irrelevant.
Abydra put her dark purple hand into the slightly cool brain pool, and the tadpoles that were instinctively begging for life out of their uneasy surroundings instantly and spontaneously surrounded them, similar to the little fish in the Blue Star Fish Spa footbath next door.
Even some of the red individuals that were far from mature were like that.
But Abydra clearly had no time for them; he simply lifted the seven mature tadpoles in his palms, came to the creatures, picked one up, and carefully placed it into the other’s eye socket in front of the humanoid’s horrified eyes.
Then he let it crawl through the cranial cavity into the other’s brain on its own by virtue of its survival instincts, just as the tadpoles of the mammalian creatures did.
And as soon as the consul implanted the second one, the roar of the dwarves’ uprising erupted from outside the mastermind room.
“Well done! Belkin!” Attilicia couldn’t help but be glad she had such a reliable partner ally in Belkin.
And not like her own unreliable son, David!
“Consul Ebaidra! There’s a riot in the Lower City Rift Mines, and a number of Dwarves have suddenly broken out of the [Suggestive Spell] control of their psychic energy and are attempting to flee the city.” A Spirit Absorbing Monster reported through the mastermind’s psychic link.
But this ‘fire’ that Atilicia had pinned high hopes on, that Spirit Sucker Consul was as if he was indifferent.
“Dispatch a rapid response execution team, all those who break away from control will be killed on sight.” After ordering so, he continued to indifferently and efficiently carry out the ‘childcare’ work in his hands.
“!” Atilicia instantly sensed something bad.
The ‘cover each other’s backs’ plan he had drawn up with Belkin following the head slap seemed to have been detected by the other party!
“Dammit! What to do?” With things having come to this point, Artilicia inevitably panicked a bit.
As a spell caster, he of course understood that the brain was the carrier of consciousness and soul, if his brain was really eaten by the Spirit Sucking Monster, not to mention the question of whether or not his soul would be damaged, but just thinking about the birth of the Spirit Sucking Monster that inherited a part of his own memories and knowledge or even a part of his personality, he couldn’t help but feel shuddering!
Seeing that it would soon be his turn, seeing that the other party’s hideous slippery ‘face of a few bars’ was facing him and disliking the last tadpole towards his face, Atilicia finally couldn’t suppress the fear and rejection in his heart and started struggling frantically, only hoping to buy even one more second of time.
He didn’t dare to restore his original body at the first opportunity.
Because in the face of a Legendary Spirit Absorbing Monster, doing so would only cause himself to instantly die a violent death! At the same time one’s own memories would immediately betray this action of David’s and theirs!
‘Do I really have to experience the feeling of my brain being slowly chewed on once? David Eutaw! Whatever you do, make some noise! I can’t hold out much longer!!!”
And I don’t know if it was because David, who was far away from the city, saw his old father being taken captive to the upper levels of the fortress from afar.
There was a loud boom.
Another round of dragon breath landed in the Molten Iron Fortress, causing the entire main brain room to shudder violently and even tilt a little for it, allowing the off-guard Spirit Sucker Consul Abydra’s tadpole-carrying hand to poke straight into Atilicia’s uncontrollably screaming throat .
“…” For a moment, the two looked at each other in disbelief, and the screen fell silent.
“Ze nah nah nah nah (damn it!!!)” Aibaidra, who finally couldn’t endure it any longer, shot a [Psychic Weakness Spell] at Atilicia, and stepped into the portal with unprecedented anger, looking for revenge on David’s red dragon psychopath.
Seeing that this terrifying spirit sucker consul finally left, Atilicia instinctively prepared to restore her own body, but the spirit energy spells from the legendary spirit sucker were not for nothing.
He realized that he actually couldn’t change back when it mattered!
His body was even more limp, and at the same time, what made his scalp even more numb was that he realized that the damned tadpole wasn’t swallowed by him, but instead, it tightly wrapped its tail around his uvula and tried to climb up from his pharyngeal gate throat to his cranial cavity!
At the same time he finally realized what one of the consul’s spells meant before he left!
In desperation, he could only struggle towards the next door to wake up a female dwarf who was in a state of crumbling despair:
“Help! Help me! I’ll find a way to save you.”
“. How can I help?” The female dwarf looked at the unrelenting ‘Drow’ with a ‘calm’ face.
“Kiss me!” Artilicia said, forcing back her shame:
“The tongue-kissing kind, ahem! Quickly! I can’t hold on much longer!”
He wanted the other man to suck the damn tadpole out for him!
“Ugh! Meet death together! Disgusting perverted Drow!”
Mard! I can’t believe I can meet this kind of Drell Lace who covets her beauty before she dies.
It’s really fucking bad luck!
She chose to die rather than bend!
