74.Chapter 74 I Hate Necromancers (2 in 1)

Chapter 74 I Hate Necromancers (2 in 1)

The diary didn’t record the reason for Silverwing’s appearance.

Heine guessed that he was mostly dealing with the missing elf case from earlier.

However, he did not enter through the vents, but rather somehow opened the brass door left behind by Sabelia.

Nor did the diary record what the two men had talked about.

It only mentions that after that, it became Barry’s “lair”.

This seems to have required some sort of ritual to accomplish, and Silverwing provided enough supplies for it.

After that, the door was pretty much sealed forever.

The two “intake ports” next to the vents have only been there since then.

Supplies are brought in at regular intervals.

There were both living materials and experimental materials.

Although Barry didn’t turn into a witch demon, his aging was greatly slowed down after generating the nest.

So he spent his days conducting experiments, supplying the elves with a steady stream of shapeshifters.

Those in the hall had both successes and failures.

Had it not been for Heine’s arrival, after a while they would have gone out of here and become Tree Shepherds of the Shapeshifting School.

Heine carefully recalled what he had seen in the Court of Emerald Leaves.

There was hardly a single abnormal tree herder, so that meant that most of these people had been sent to fight elsewhere.

For example, the Blight Trail.

Closing her journal, Heine let out a long breath.

Even though he didn’t get to see what he wanted to know, this part was still too much information.

The information known so far were:

1. the mountains of Makara were much larger in the past than they are today.

Even the Whispering Forest was a hunting ground for the Lords.

2. this group of night elves were first suspected to have wandered to the edge of the Whispering Forest and were blocked off from the forest by the lords of the time.

But later, with the help of shapeshifters, they won the war and seized the territory.

Maybe that’s why Sabelia is called a hero?
3. the Shapeshifters were not accepted by the higher-ups of the Mercury Forest in the beginning.

But then Sabelia somehow its become one of the pillar schools.

This has been verified nowadays.

Then combine it with the second one.

Perhaps this is why this group of elven exiles established the Court of Emerald Leaves as a recognized official institution?

4. and most importantly.

The name Eli the Wind Harnesser was the first time Heine had heard it.

But he had heard Chief Sa mention another name ……

Eli Monte, son of the wind.

He knew something about the Dwarven language, and “Monte” often stood for the son of xx.

In other words, Eli Monte literally means “son of Eli”.

Sabelia was last seen in the Eagle’s Nest.

So there are two guesses for Eli Monte.

One is that Sabellia really took over Eli the Windmaster and turned the beast into his “flying form.” ……

Then Eli Monte is his child.

Or, Eli Monte is simply him.

Either way, it’s not good news.

On top of that, there’s a whole lot of academic stuff about meta-spiritual experimentation and emotional stripping.

What a treasure to pick up this time, this trip really wasn’t for nothing.

Heine stood up with satisfaction, ready to go back to the bookshelf to look for more.

Just then, a muffled sound suddenly came from above his head.

Then the earth began to tremble, and the violent shaking sent the bookshelves and the things on the table tumbling to the east.

Barry rose from his chair as well.

Before he could say anything, a shrill chirping sound came from far away, as if suddenly appearing over the heads of the crowd.

Whoa!

The ceiling overhead shattered in response.

The three skeletons rushed to Heine’s side at the first opportunity, blocking the falling broken walls for him.

At this time, a white shadow swept past, Heine only felt a blur in front of his eyes, and the only thing left in his ears was Mr. Sa’s “Crap” that kept going away.

Heine was busy pushing the two away.

Only to see that the vent behind Barry had been knocked out of a large hole.

The whistling wind plowed a deep furrow in the ground, splitting both the phalanx and the desk in two.

Mr. Sa is gone ……

Heine rushed forward to assist Barry, who had been scraped down.

The latter’s eyes were open, but the light in them was lapsing.

After seeing that it was Heine, Barry shoved something into his hand and then fainted.

Heine hurriedly opened the pupils of the dead and saw that the death aura did not come near him before he let go of his heart.

Guardian Kite: “Fuck, what the hell was that just now? How come Mr. Sa is gone?”

Teacher Xia: “…… I feel like that white shadow looks a bit familiar, like it’s a wind harnessing technique.”

Wei Diankui: “Impossible ah, who does he think he is ah, in the lair to put skills must not go through the lair master’s consent ah?”

Teacher Xia: “Indeed, to harden the master of the lair must be at least one level higher than him …… I don’t believe that this plot can still have seven or eight levels to come in.”

Wei Temple Iris: “That’s finished, that can only mean that person’s lair authority is higher than this old man’s.”

Teacher Xia: “That’s a good thing ah, it means that Mr. Sa still has a play – not right ah, why did he arrest Mr. Sa ah?”

Both of them were confused.

Heine was no better, when a surprised voice suddenly came from overhead.

“Heine?”

He whipped his head around to look.

It was …… Jianglu?
“Why are you here?”

“I had to ask you.”

Jianglu quickly leaned in.

A wistful look crossed her face as she passed Mr. Xia.

“You really came ……”

Teacher Xia hastily took a step backward.

Wei Diankui: “What, she knows you?”

Teacher Xia: “Don’t ask, really not familiar!”

Heine didn’t explain this misunderstanding for the time being, after all, there were more important things at hand.

“What was that in the past just now? It was too fast, I didn’t see it clearly.”

Jiang Lu: “Eli Monte, it’s the person Eternal Dawn is holding here, but he turned into the appearance of a wind harnesser.”

Eli Monte!
Heine was shocked in her heart, but her face didn’t move, “Who is Eli Monte? Why is it involved with the Eternal Dawn?”

“It’s a prisoner that Donald entrusted us to focus on guarding some time ago.”

“Donald? I heard from Linumu that you were locked up because of him.”

“That’s only the surface reason.”

Vermillion Dew shook her head:

“I was actually imprisoned because of Eli Monte, and as Mr. Silverwing’s most valued subordinate, he wanted me to assist in guarding the prisoner.”

Finishing her sentence she wondered, “And what’s the deal with Linumu?”

Heine didn’t answer.

He went over things quickly in his mind.

Then scribbled a quick note and called Mr. Summer over.

“Sneak out of here, find the floating city, and give the note to Xiara.”

Mr. Xia led the way and turned to vanish into the air.

Mr. Xia: “I’m going back to shaking people, hang in there brother.”

Wei Temple Iris: “I fucking take what hold up ah …… line, I try my best, you numb it.”

Heine found a clean place and put Barry on it.

After settling him down, he then looked at Jianglu.

“The matter of Linumu is like this ……”

When he had told the story in general, Jianglu then revealed a shocked expression.

“You’re saying that …… Eli Monte took the skeleton suspected to be Sabelia?

“So it was Linumu who planned all this?”

Heine: “No, no, no, don’t guess yet, first tell me what you saw over there.” Jangroo recalled quickly, “Eli Monte was a dark-skinned human, and I was put next door to him when I came in.

“He did nothing but eat and sleep every day, he didn’t even look like a prisoner locked up here, more like he was here on vacation.”

“And today? What’s different about him today?”

JD: “If I had to say so there was …… He suddenly became unusually hyper this afternoon, I think that’s when you came in, he was speaking the language of the mountain people, and then he started banging his head against the guardrail.

“A couple of guards came to try and control him, but they couldn’t stop him at all, so a doctor was brought in to prepare for treatment.

“As it turned out, the moment the cage opened, the medic had his neck snapped by his bite, and the guards were shocked into unconsciousness as he ran straight this way.

“I rushed after him, but could not catch up at all, but fortunately the door above blocked him.

“But by the time I got there, he had turned into a wind harnessed beast covered in snow, and then opened the door.

“And then his speed suddenly increased, and he crashed headlong through the floor-and then you saw all that followed.

“So …… who is he?”

She looked to Barry Gittler.

“And what is this place? Those cages ……”

“Do you know about the nest?” Heine asked.

Vermillion Dew froze, then looked at him warily:

“I shouldn’t be telling you these things.”

“I’m not putting words in your mouth, I’m telling you some facts.”

Heine said with a straight face, “His name is Barry Gitil, from more than eight hundred years ago, the builder of Gitil Manor, the earliest group of necromancers.”

He briefly introduced the first half of this old man’s life, including the fact that he was set up by Saberia.

However, he didn’t say where the shapeshifters came from, only that the “legacy” was finally inherited by Silverwing.

From the look on Jiang Lu’s face, it was clear that this was the biggest secret of the Cui Ye Court.

Jianglu’s mouth opened wider and wider, and finally his eyes glared.

“Are you making fun of me?”

“No, I said all that just to say that …… this is his lair, built with the assistance of that Mr. Silverwing.

“My unique senses tell me that Barry is a level five or higher necromancer.

“You know more about the lair than I do – as you saw, in just one look, Eli Monte put a lair master in a coma.

“So just how strong does Eliamonte have to be?”

Shock gradually took over Vermillion Dew’s face.

She also realized the severity of the problem.

Eli Monte was a prisoner that Eternal Dawn had requested to focus on.

But Mr. Silverwing had seen him personally.

If he was really that strong, he wouldn’t have been released into the Whispering Crypt at all ……

“Looking at your expression I can easily deduce that Eli Monte isn’t actually that strong. Right?” Heine asked.

Jiang Lu: “Yes, his human body is at most the strength of a third level warrior.”

Heine continued, “That is to say, excluding the possibility of him hiding his strength as well as Barry intentionally letting his strength slip, there exists only one reasonable hypothesis.”

Jianglu murmured, “He utilized the convenience of the lair and has powers above Barry Gitil ……”

“Yes, and the person who assisted Barry in casting the Lair in the first place happened to be Mr. Silverwing, so-“

Heine spread her hands, “If you have to find a mastermind, I think that hawk-nose is a good option.”

Vermillion Dew: “That’s ridiculous, guarding Eli Monte is a commission that can’t be missed, Mr. Silverwing he ……”

“So he’s being counted on as well – is that what you’re trying to say?” Heine asked rhetorically, “The mastermind behind this is Eternal Dawn, and the Court of Emerald Leaves is clean?
“With such a secret hall, imprisoning a master of the Undead School, Cuirassia is clean?”

Once again, Vermillion Dawn was silent.

It wasn’t because it was impossible to refute the other party’s inference, but the fact that these words appeared on Heine was odd.

He’s a …… a hick from the mountains of Makara.

He shouldn’t know this ……

Even more so, he shouldn’t have said these forbidden knowledge with ease.

“You run away! I’ll help you get out of here!”

Jianglu said quickly, “It’s such a big deal that Mr. Silverwing will be here soon, so ……”

“Why should I run?”

Heine grinned:

“I had a skeleton snatched by Eli Monte, and I haven’t figured out the reason behind this.

“Shouldn’t I stay and settle a score with the culprit?”

Jiang Lu said sharply, “In case we are both framed and the opponent’s real purpose lies here, you won’t even have a chance to defend yourself.”

“There is no what-if.” Heine shook her head, “Barry Gitil was imprisoned here by Sabelia, and the Jungle Wind was last seen at the Eagle’s Nest.

“Eli Monte ended up as the Wind Harvester of Eagle’s Nest Mountain, and Linumu thinks my skeleton is Sabelia’s undead spirit.

“Everything needed a thread to tie it all together, and it just so happens that I have found it.”

After a pause, he dropped one last shocking bombshell on Jianglu.

“All the research Barry has done points to the Shapeshifter school of tree herders.

“In other words, every one of your shapeshifters is an alternative necromancer.”

Jianglu completely froze in place.

The slugs she had ingested in those few moments were one more explosive than the other.

She already had some indigestion.

So said ……

What did Sabelia do at the Eagle’s Rank Mountain back then?
Could this really be revenge from the Eagle’s Nest Mountain?

And once she started thinking about these questions, it meant that she acquiesced to Linumu’s suspicions.

It meant that Heine was able to summon the departed elf hero, so his identity ……

However there wasn’t quite enough time left for Jianglu to be shocked.

She suddenly got up with a stony face and jumped to the hall above her in three bounds.

There were many people approaching.

Silverwing suddenly appeared in the doorway with a man.

His face was frosty and expressionless.

But upon looking at the open brass doors, and the pit in the center of the hall.

The face of this head of the Court of Emerald Leaves twitched a few times.

He went straight forward and crossed over to Jiang Lu.

There was no blame or explanation.

It was as if he didn’t have this person in his eyes.

“Wait!”

Jianglu suddenly blocked in front of him.

“What are you going to do? You’re taking him away? I need an explanation! What’s going on with those shapeshifters?”

“I’m not obligated to explain it to you, Ms. Jianglu.”

Silverwing shook his head:

“You screwed up the mission I gave you, we’ll talk about it later. Now please get out of the way.”

“I’m not leaving until you explain yourself!”

Jianglu didn’t take a step back, staring at the elf in front of her with a deadly stare.

Staring at this man who she considered to be hope, the bright future of the Cui Ye Court.

It was as if she was getting to know him all over again.

Silverwing sighed.

He gestured to those behind him, and the group of guards retreated into the hall above.

Jianglu felt bad and was about to strike when he was suddenly locked by Silverwing’s perception.

In this instant, she felt like a pitiful rabbit that was being targeted by a ferocious gray-horned eagle.

The opponent’s figure swayed, and she received a heavy blow to the back of her head and fell softly to the ground.

Silverwing walked towards Heine, her eyes revealing intense hatred.

“I hate necromancers, I hate you disgusting creatures.”

Heine: “Coincidentally, necromancers hate you too.”

He said, suddenly raising his right hand.

He held an egg-sized bottle in his palm, and inside was a dark floating mass.

It was as black as algae and as disgusting as wet hair.

Silverwing’s heart sank and he quickly stepped forward.

But it was obviously too late.

The cork was easily pushed open, and pitch-black fury wrapped around Heine like a silken thread.

The powerful force pushed the silver wings away hard.

It was the fury of Barry Gittler.

The rage of being imprisoned for eight hundred years.
