Chapter 488 487.The exhibition hall is open to visitors only!
“It’s snowing, this snow is really heavy, it reminds me of the night I was picked up by you”
Murphy hovered in the air on the snowy night, looking down at the silvered Scarlet Fortress, he said to Tris beside him:
“I still don’t know what you picked me back up that night who was already dying for? Was it just a pure feeling that I was more handsome, and that it would be more regrettable to starve to death on a bleak night?”
“Bah, shame on you, what kind of person says they’re handsome?”
Tris spat with a stern face as she opened her hands in the air to let the snowflakes fall on her palms:
“This cheek of yours, ah, in the generally shameless vampires is also considered quite shameless, you take it as me being kind that night. But this snow is indeed heavy enough, according to Transylvania’s weather in previous years, there should be at least three more snowfalls in the next two months before a colder early spring.
To make matters worse for this year, another challenge will come to this land when early spring arrives.
The jackals that live in the Dark Mountains don’t like to be in cold climates, though, so if all goes well, their entry into Transylvania will be lagged.”
“They can’t get in!”
Murphy said confidently:
“We’ll keep them at the Barren Hill defense line, and at the very least, we’ll never let them break through the swamp! It’s not easy for my territory to pick up a bit, I won’t allow those barbarians to destroy that.”
“It’s good to have confidence .”
Tris hesitated, but still didn’t say what was on her mind.
Murphy didn’t care about Tris’s thinking of putting things in a bad light, he took out his broken pocket watch and looked at the time, turning his head and said to Tris:
“The purge over at the Swamp Forbidden Land should be over, I had planned to go over there tomorrow to take a look, but it’s rare that the snow falls tonight, it’s too much of a pity to nestle in the room and sleep with such a good view. So, my dear Mrs. Tris, may I have the honor of inviting you to accompany me on an adventure to the Land of Creation this evening?”
“Yes.”
Tris readily agreed.
She was very interested in the Creator’s Land hidden in the swamp.
If not for the fact that the key to enter it was in Murphy’s hands, the powerful Psychic Master wouldn’t have cared about the so-called “martial law and order”, and she would have rushed in to take a walk as soon as she found it.
Powerful strength was the basis for ensuring that Tris would die but not really die, from this point of view, the Scarlet Witch was actually quite a thief.
She hadn’t been seen going around killing herself in the hundred years she had been down and out, but instead lived at a snail’s pace in the broken courtyard of Cadman City as a housewife.
Obviously, Tris’ understanding of “safety” was definitely ahead of the curve.
She had already recorded the location of the forbidden swamp, so she held Murphy’s wrist tightly and disappeared in the teleportation stream, and after a few seconds of astral traveling, she re-entered the material world and appeared at the bottom of the bare mountain.
Transylvania snow obviously can not fall here, the outside temperature plummeted at the same time, the stable ecology of the swamp will not be broken.
Murphy awakened the Universal Image Device in his hand and put it into the form of an Astral Guide Staff, he walked forward with this peculiarly shaped metal staff, and Tris followed closely behind and didn’t forget to apply all kinds of protective spell statuses to herself and Murphy.
This time, when Murphy stepped into the mountain passage, his character card no longer popped up to prove that the internal blockade of this area has been lifted, so the vampire lord was relieved to boldly stride forward.
After a few minutes of advancing downward around the stone steps, the metal steps and a heavy blast door that met his eyes made Murphy instantly narrow his eyes.
Hey, the picture style has changed!
From a fantasy world with a medieval setting to an exploration of a suspected “prehistoric technological civilization” with a vampire girl, Murphy was sure that if he opened this area to his little players, they would also be shocked and cry out in disbelief.
And now it seems, the so-called “Creator” mystery should really be related to “future technology”, after all, you see in front of this absolutely thousands of tons of weight and modular design of the steel gate, how to see how it is impossible to be related to the mystery of psychic energy, right?
What’s more, you have a few things hovering around the edge of the gate. Hiss! That’s a camera, right?
Oh, shit.
That’s pretty fancy.
Murphy mentally spat, and as he and Tris approached the blast door, the three hovering devices hovering around the metal wall flew closer.
Their insect-like shells opened with a clicking sound and blossomed with a blue light, a scene that made Tris alertly pull out the Serenade Scepter, but was pressed down by Murphy’s outstretched hand.
“It’s just a detection scan, don’t worry.”
He spoke softly, then raised the universal device in his hand.
This thing was a legacy left behind by the Creator, it was bound to form a connection with this place of creation before him, and Murphy still had an Administrator Alpha.
It shouldn’t trigger a hostile reaction here any more, right?
As Murphy watched, an iron beetle-like device stopped in front of him, and the vampire lord gave it a friendly wave, before the thing’s casing opened and a flashlight-like contraption popped out and aimed.
“Whoosh.”
The ghostly blue beam hit, scanning from the top of Murphy’s head all the way down to his feet, with a blue curtain of light projected alongside the iron beetle, presenting Murphy’s body scan in parameterized form.
Then Murphy tragically discovered that his platelet level was only at one percent of a normal person’s, which meant that his blood was completely unable to clot naturally.
But on second thought, this might be because he was a vampire?
He still wanted to take a closer look at his “medical report”, but the beam of the iron beetle in front of him disappeared in the next instant, and then hovered at Murphy’s shoulder in a soft posture.
“Welcome to the core area of the Swamp Ecological Zone Exhibition Hall, Administrator Alpha!
The control core has granted you temporary visitor privileges, please proceed to the underground datapad to authenticate your identity and complete the ‘Wanxiang’ device binding, the process will be completed and you will be granted higher privileges.”
The soft female electronic voice accompanied by the vibration of the Iron Beetle on his shoulder sounded in Murphy’s heart, which verified Murphy’s guess that this administrator system of his was indeed the “Creator” from this world!
However, this voice only echoed in Murphy’s mind, and Tris was unable to hear it.
She could only see that after Murphy was scanned by the blue light, the three levitating iron beetles with energy fluctuations quickly converged their attacking movements, and even took the initiative to levitate beside Murphy, as if they were protecting his safety.
This made Tris sigh in her heart, her own little Murphy is really a different man.
He said that he was paid attention to and given some kind of power by the Subspace Shadow, now it seems that the Subspace Shadow that paid attention to little Murphy is most likely the Creator that is worshipped by the people of Sanghai, right?
“Come with me, Tris.”
Murphy reached out and took Tris’s left hand in his as he navigated the rules of the newly popped up Swamp Ecozone exhibit hall on the translucent interface in front of him:
“This is a Psychic Energy Prohibited Zone, temporary visitors won’t be able to use psychic energy spells once they’re in it, and you’ll have to store everything on your person that contains psychic energy in the lockers in the visitor’s area.”
“A psychic energy no-go zone?”
Tris’s face instantly changed when she heard the word.
For a Spiritual Energy Master like her, having to enter an unknown area where she couldn’t use her Spiritual Energy was obviously a big adventure that couldn’t be accepted.
She was instinctively about to refuse, but when she saw Murphy’s affirmative look, she knew that her little Murphy had already confirmed that the area in front of her did not pose a threat to her personal safety.
“Don’t be afraid, this is the Land of Creation and we have become guests of the Creator, as long as we don’t break the rules here we won’t be harmed.
Come.”
He pulled Tris forward and stood in front of the heavy blast door, waiting for the “ticket to enter” window to be scanned again, this time the prompts simply directly Murphy and Tris on the body of the “prohibited goods” all marked out.
However, people are surprised that the necessary evil is not labeled as contraband, it seems that the magic sword that makes life afraid of fear also belongs to the “safe category” in the Creator’s system.
The vampire lord took off his jewelry and armor without much concern, and wore only a single garment, while the three iron beetles hovering next to him showed him the area to store his clothes.
As he tapped, very technological black boxes popped out of the metal wall next to him.
The fist-sized thing had some sort of spatial properties, after all, Murphy had quite a lot of belongings that would never fit into such a small area.
And probably because the identity of the administrator Alpha is different, after Murphy removed the “contraband”, an iron beetle also brought him a set of very simple, unadorned black robes for replacement.
Unfortunately, Tris did not have this treatment.
Every ornament on the Blood Vulture’s body is basically a psychic item, and Tris must take it off before she is allowed to enter the land of creation.
This made the scarlet witch’s teeth itchy, waving the serenade scepter, ready to try to “forcibly break through the barrier”.
As soon as she unleashed her psychic power, a warning sound rang out around the blast door in front of her.
Red warning beams were projected in the air, closing off the path to the land of creation, and more than fifty oddly shaped firearms of various calibers popped out of the metal cubes around the perimeter that began to tumble and move as if by magic, aiming at her.
Among them, there was also a number of electromagnetic cannons that looked very advanced, used energy as a weapon and had already begun to recharge.
This turn of events startled Murphy.
He immediately opened his arms to block in front of Tris, and the administrator’s status worked wonders, as the rather threatening defense guns were recycled into the weapons bay, although the shrill warnings still echoed. “This is the land of creation! Tris! I have reason to believe that this place harbors powers that are powerful enough to harm you.”
Murphy looked back at the Blood Vulture Archduke as he whispered:
“If you really can’t get used to the lack of psychic energy, why don’t you stay here for now? After I go in and get higher authority, then I’ll let you in?”
“No! I won’t allow you to step into this dangerous place alone.”
Tris bit her lip.
It didn’t take her long to use it to convince herself, and with a sigh she placed the Serenade Scepter in the tray poking out from the iron beetle in front of her, and stripped off the clothing with all the various psychic protection effects on her body under Murphy’s watchful eye until she was left with only a snug single garment, and was still prompted to not allow her to set foot in the Land of Creation.
Murphy’s eyes twitched as he looked at the black underwear on Tris, and he said:
“As for that? You even have protection spells on your underwear? Are you Spirit Energy Masters sick?”
“You don’t understand! This is called taking precautions, there have been cases of Spiritual Energy Masters being assassinated in bed before, otherwise I wouldn’t be so vigilant.”
Tris turned red and shouted at Murphy:
“You turn around.”
“Ch.”
The vampire lord let out a spiteful snort, but obediently turned around and handed Tris the black robe that had been given to him again to use to cover his torso.
A few seconds later, after Tris had finished changing her clothes and was now free of any “contraband”, the red warning beam in front of her finally changed to a green light that signaled safety.
There was a click.
The closed heavy metal door dipped inward and swung to the left, revealing the exhibition area.
The polished floor, the empty visitor hall, the lighting beams hidden in the dome, the hovering cleaning robots moving on the floor for cleaning, and the optical signage and eco-zone descriptions projected along the flower beds all combined to give Murphy a rather “futuristic” look.
The moment he stepped into the visitor’s hall, an invisible pressure covered him, not heavy but like a shackle that temporarily closed off Murphy’s contact with his psychic energy.
It was as if an organ of his body had been “cut off”, making Murphy feel uncomfortable.
His contact with psychic energy was not deep enough, but Tris beside him was even worse.
The moment her contact with the psychic energy was cut off, the Blood Vulture Archduke let out a mournful cry and fell to the ground with his forehead covered, and then was assisted by Murphy to the same place.
“I told you to stay outside.”
He assisted Tris, whose arms and legs were weak and her head was aching, to sit on a nearby chair, and smoothly searched for and activated the massage function on the chair’s manipulation panel, holding Tris’s wrists to soothe her while checking the rules and regulations of the exhibition area.
After a few seconds, he frowned and said:
“Originally, the visitor area was not completely forbidden to the circulation of psychic energy, but the vicious theft that occurred three days ago caused the control core here to raise the security level. This ‘no psychic energy zone’ is a device that was temporarily activated to prevent the theft from happening again.”
“So Torn Flesh really did take some of the Creator’s treasures from here?”
Tris slumped back in the visitor’s chair with a pale face, rubbing her brow as she calmed her breathing and surveyed the unusual facilities and surroundings around her as she addressed Murphy:
“Forget about me, get your ass in there and see what Torn Flesh has taken! If that jackal took some sort of horrible weapon left behind by the Creator, we’ll have to contact Venerable Lord Paying immediately to deal with it.
The Black Plague is already terrifying enough, we can’t let the jackal take more deadly contraptions.”
“There’s no need to worry, this is just an exhibition area, the Creator or His servants won’t leave weapons that can destroy the world here. Stay here for a while and rest, don’t run around, if you can’t, exit and wait for me outside.”
Murphy checked the control panel of the visitor’s chair and called up the “visitor’s life support device”, pulling the breathing mask that popped up on the back of the chair down over Tris’s cheek.
As Tris inhaled certain gases, her motion sickness was quickly relieved and she even drifted off to sleep.
“Take care of her for me.”
Murphy got up and spoke to the three Iron Beetles hovering beside him.
He wasn’t sure if the things could understand, but one of the iron beetles did land and hover there beside Tris after the order was given.
The vampire lord glanced at Tris, who had already gone into hibernation, and without any further hesitation, he quickly entered the deep corridors of the exhibition hall, holding the Manifestation Device in his hand and following the guidance of the road signs projected on the flower beds.
As a result, just as he stepped in, the two heavily armed mechanical guards still patrolling on his face subdued Murphy.
Their appearance resembled the “RoboCop” in Murphy’s other memory!
Their gray and black appearance was molded into human form, with V-shaped helmets, wearing blue security personnel uniforms and cloaks.
These two security robots were equipped with all kinds of weapons that Murphy couldn’t understand, but they must be very powerful, and even had a sawblade combat knife at their waist.
Once these brutal weapons were up and running, it shouldn’t be a problem to shred a Jackal in a few seconds.
However, these two exhibition hall guards did not block Murphy’s progress, on the contrary, they also politely made way and made a “please” gesture.
The Governor blinked his eyes, returned a very decent smile, and then took a big step forward.
At the end of the corridor was an elevator, and next to the elevator stood something Murphy was very familiar with.
“A vending machine?”
A wave of unexplained emotion sprang up in the vampire’s heart, and he quickly stepped forward to maneuver the thing to select one of the cans of something like happy water, but had trouble paying for it.
The thing popped up a weird-looking QR code for him, leaving him frozen in place with no idea how to proceed to the next step.
Hello!
How am I supposed to pay for this when I don’t have a remote or anything like that in my hand?
Just as he was complaining, when he swept his eyes over the QR code, a familiar scanning sound rang out in his head, the payment was completed, and a can of “Creator Drink” popped out from the shipping port.
And a line of simple words popped up on the character card in front of Murphy:
“Payment completed! Achievement points -5! Boss atmosphere, thanks for patronizing.”
“F*ck! My achievement!”
Murphy screamed to:
“It was hard for me to save up that many achievements, and one achievement only gives 10 points, and I bought you a can of soda and took away 5 points?
Are you a fucking human being?
I’m returning it!”
He grabbed the vending machine and punched and kicked it, and even tried to use the “Cannonball Sister Repair Method” to make the damn thing return his achievement points.
However, he didn’t know which strange mechanism had been triggered, and as Murphy watched with wide eyes, this thing actually retracted back into the wall with a clicking sound of its own accord.
Only a can of black soda remained in front of Murphy’s eyes.
The governor sighed, feeling that his own hands are really fucking cheap, but things have come to this point, he had no choice but to pick up the soda, ready to reminisce about the “taste of childhood”.
However, when Murphy picked up the soda, out of “professional sensitivity”, he started the item identification of this thing, and then

“Whew, so it wasn’t a system glitch but a ‘newbie pack’? You bastard simply scared me to death.”
Murphy cursed, and the moment he opened the elevator, he smoothly pulled the pull ring of the drink in his hand, and then poured the bubbling drink into his mouth.
He would like to see what kind of miraculous effect the snacks rubbed out by the hands of this motherfucking Creator had.
This dog thing!
Don’t let me meet you again when I get stronger in the future, hmmm, if I don’t pick my waist for you I’ll write my name Murphy backwards!
