Hello everyone, I am your dear beta team member Alpha, before formally announcing the content of this update, I would like to firstly, on behalf of the entire members of the development team and beta team of The Real World, express our sincere thanks to all the people who have contributed to the beta testing of the game so far!
Thanks to everyone’s dedication and hard work over the last two months, we’ve advanced the game from bug-riddled mess to something that’s now barely usable at the seams.
But even the most confident programmers in the development team aren’t sure if there are any undiscovered bugs in the mountain of code they’ve hammered out.
But even with all these concerns, we’ve made it this far, and we’re confident that the bond between the development team and the testers is strong enough to overcome any obstacle, and we’re also confident that the current testing model is strong enough to find and eliminate most of the factors that affect the game’s experience.
Therefore, after repeated discussions with the development team, we have decided to give all players who participated in the closed beta a gift from the development team.
We haven’t agreed on what to put in the gift box yet, but we’ve had plenty of time to pick out our favorite goodies!

Next up is the official content of the major update:
I. The opening of player territories:
I believe that some of you who are good at collecting information have already known some information about the ‘stronghold’ gameplay, but there were some logical loopholes that delayed the launch of this gameplay.
In the end, under the pressure of the test team members, our development team finally managed to fix this heavyweight gameplay before the end of the closed beta.
Since the date of the update, Transylvania will have three new player territories, which we call ‘strongholds’!
All recruitment, construction, and regulation in this area will be decided by the players, with the Scarlet Fortress Administrative Office delegating maximum authority, retaining only the ability to tax, inspect, and intervene when necessary.
This will be another perfect example of the game’s high degree of freedom.
Players will no longer play the role of ordinary adventurers but will be able to step into the political arena of Transylvania as ‘Lords’. However, since the management and construction of player strongholds cannot be accomplished by a single player, the development team has decided to delegate the management of strongholds to the player guilds after weighing the situation several times.
In the current version of the game, the ‘Fort Riptide’ and ‘Maginot Line’ will be decentralized to the ‘Knights of Riptide’ and the ‘Scarlet Hammer’, respectively, which are the most outstanding player guilds in the mainline. Scarlet Hammer and Sickle Regiment’.
Guilds that have not been assigned a stronghold don’t have to worry, Governor Murphy still has a stronghold that has yet to be determined, and will decide on its ownership according to the progress of the mission.

Strongholds are not developed as a single village or town, and according to their different responsibilities, there are different routes of growth for strongholds.
The different development routes for strongholds are as follows:

Therefore, after repeated discussions with the development team, the decision-making team and the logistics team, we have finally decided to adopt a new model for recruiting testers.
From the date of version 3.0 update, tester recruitment authority will be decentralized to player guilds, in conjunction with the upcoming “guild rating” model to be launched by the Scarlet Fortress administration office, all player guilds with level 2 or above will be given 5-20 tester slots each week to recruit their own guild members.

In this way, players will be able to visualize the impact of their activities on this suffering land, and from the information we have gathered so far, the recruitment ratio we have set has perfectly achieved the desired effect.
Of course, the mapping between the number of citizens and the number of testers does not depend only on the number of people.
It is also linked to the level of development of a territory, and when a territory or stronghold reaches a certain level of development, the percentage of player slots that can be fed back into their territory will be further increased.
This percentage can be increased to a maximum of 3%.
Therefore, when the plot of Transylvania advances to the point where it is no longer possible to expand the player base by recruiting stragglers, it would be a very good way for the managers of the strongholds to divert their energies to territorial development to grow their own selves.
IV. Administrative Gameplay Updates:
With the rapid increase of Transylvania’s population, each stronghold is in urgent need of outstanding leaders. From the date of this update, all administrative players who have passed the administrative test will be assigned official positions, and there are a large number of official positions vacant in the first five collective farms, so the administrative players who serve as administrators can award these positions to the players or NPCs of their choice, and the appointments will take effect after the Scarlet Fortress Administration Office approves. The appointment will become effective upon approval from the Scarlet Fortress Administration.
All players who are appointed to official positions will receive a position allowance from the Administration according to their rank.
