Chapter 527: Worse Than a Solar Heir

Chapter 527: More Terrifying Than the Sun Heir ……

As the number of invaders that exceeded expectations appeared one after another, Heidi’s heart actually grew nervous.

Because she knew that these “things” in front of her were far more powerful than the cultist she had dealt with before – that cultist was only a human who had contracted with the Profound Demon, and even though he had some skills, he was only a fragile mortal in his own “field of expertise”. In her own “field of expertise”, it wasn’t difficult to deal with it.

But these black-clothed “people” were different – they were not human at all.

They were the “residue” of the sun’s children, the messengers and blood relatives derived from that monstrous fearful thing in the sky, and in essence, these things even belonged to the part of the “Creeping Sun Wheel”, which was an extension of that ancient god’s power.

These creatures do not have normal thinking activities, nor do they have a personality structure that can be understood by mortals. The knowledge and skills that Heidi possessed as a “psychiatrist” were very limited in dealing with this kind of enemy.

However, Ms. Psychiatrist still took a deep breath and calmed down, and tightly gripped the golden cone in her hand.

Sun children do not accept the negotiation of mortals, their hatred of intelligent beings is unconditional and indiscriminate, there is no other way but to meet the war, not to mention …… there is a powerful “witch”, Ms. Lucrecia seems to know her father, she Although there are some scary, but in the present situation, she is not so bad to see himself die here …… right?

Her thoughts flashed by, and in the next second, Heidi noticed that the figure of a black-clothed “person” suddenly blurred in her gaze – a sense of crisis suddenly struck her.

The blur disappeared into thin air, and almost immediately, Heidi felt a sharp pain in her abdomen, and she looked down slowly to see that a tentacle had pierced through her torso and ripped a fatal gash.

The blurred figure of her assailant only then loomed on the other end of that tentacle.

A golden cone instantly stabbed from the side, and a personification lunged at the tentacle, which stabbed down through the air in a harsh manner, straight into the hazy figure, which was slightly traumatized, and instantly let out a strange hiss as it stepped backward.

Heidi’s body slowly fell to the side, but before she hit the ground, her main consciousness was transferred to the other persona next to her, and the moment she completed the transfer, she swung the golden cone in her hand and stabbed at the other shadow that was coming at her.

And at the same time, she quickly raised the revolver with her other hand, pressed it against her temple, and pulled the trigger without hesitation.

A new personality doppelganger appeared behind her, quickly filling in for the mental entity that had just been lost.

At the same time, more of the black-clad ones rushed towards Lucrecia, who was clearly the more threatening presence on the scene – a trail of shadows weaved through the forest as if traveling between the cracks of light and shadow, and all manner of tangible or intangible forces swarmed down on the area where Lucrecia stood, tearing through the air, crushing the ground, and leaving erosion in their wake.

Lucrecia’s figure, however, was like an illusion, lightly passing through all the attacks and quickly approaching behind one of the assailants, and before the black-clothed freak could react, she had already placed a finger near the other’s shoulder.

The freak let out a sharp hiss, and along with the harsh noise, which was almost unbearable to humans, a string of slurred voices came into both Heidi’s and Lucrecia’s heads at the same time as if they were echoing directly in their minds:
“You have seen him, and you must die here!”

“No one wants to see your monstrous and loathsome ‘blood relatives,'” Lucrecia simply shook her head indifferently, “Now, it’s time to bloom- -“

The black-clad freak snapped its arm up, an invisible shadow coalescing into the shape of some sort of weapon in its coat, but by now Lucrecia had already lightly retreated a few meters away.

At the place where she tapped her finger, a strange color suddenly appeared on the shoulder of the black-clothed “man”, and immediately after, that color, which seemed like paint, quickly spread, revitalized, and in the blink of an eye turned into countless brightly colored flowers and frantically growing vines— countless dense plants from which the “man” was growing, and the “man” was growing. Countless dense plants grew from within this seemingly inhuman body, accompanied by the horrifying sound of flesh and blood tearing as well as grinding, devouring the remnants of this Sun Scion in an instant.

Yet with the fall of this assailant, more rustling and the convergence of shadows came from all directions.

Under the sunlight, among the dense forest, several more tall figures clad in black coats and emanating a strange and unsettling aura emerged out of thin air and closed in step by step in the direction of Lucrecia and Heidi, forming a siege.

And behind these figures, where the sunlight poured down, there were more shadows converging, and more assailants entering this dream world!

Lucrecia subconsciously frowned, but before she could think about how these attackers were flooding into this “dream world”, a new attack had already arrived.

Several black-robed freaks took advantage of the cracks in the light and shadows and appeared beside her in an instant.

Lucrecia had already prepared for this, and the moment the enemies appeared, the “baton” had reappeared in her hand, and she pointed it at the closest enemy – however, the moment she was about to release the curse, a slight dizziness appeared suddenly and delayed her. However, just as she was about to release the curse, a slight dizziness appeared and delayed her movements.

With the sound of wind in her ears, Lucrecia broke free of the dizziness just as she was about to be attacked, and flew aside with a thud into countless fluttering pieces of colored paper, before her figure emerged from the colors and looked in a certain direction for the first time.

A piece of blurred and distorted smoke appeared because of her “gaze”, the smoke undulated and wriggled in the air like a strange jellyfish, and a dark chain extended out from the jellyfish’s body to a young man who appeared out of thin air.

And almost at the same time, one of Heidi’s personality avatars had already suffered a heavy blow, she was knocked out by an invisible force, half of her body was almost torn apart, but before this avatar dissipated, she still raised her hand with the last of her strength, and shot three times consecutively towards the sooty jellyfish that emerged out of thin air with a thump-

“Ms. Lucrecia! This is the intruder I told you about!”

“There’s no need to speak to me in such a gruesome manner,” Lucrecia muttered expressionlessly as she watched the persona land not far in front of her and gradually dissipate with a dead look on her face, and then raised the baton in her hand to block a blazing shot! “After that, he raised the baton in his hand and blocked a sharp spiked wrist, and at the same time, he looked up at the Annihilationist who had not suddenly appeared until now, “It looks like the madman who follows the Profound Holy Lord has joined hands with the madman who follows the Black Sun…?”

“Originally, I didn’t intend to show up, but now it seems that our ‘temporary allies’ do need a little help ……”

The Annihilationist who was still wearing the blue uniform of a “medical facility staff”, but whose face had completely changed, stood at a high place and smiled calmly, the three shots fired by Heidi’s persona before her death didn’t cause any damage to the soot jellyfish at all, and he swept his gaze over the “remnants” who were under siege. He swept his eyes over the Spirit Healer and the Witch of the Sea, who were getting weakened under the attack of the “Scraps”, and then raised his head again, glanced at the terrifying Sun Heirs in the sky, and nodded his head slightly.

“I hope you will keep your word, and we will continue to ‘dig deeper’.” The quietly hanging “sun” in the sky did not give any response, but the “sunlight” that enveloped the entire forest was obviously a few points hotter than before.

Keep your promise? Digging deeper?
Lucrecia instantly noticed the two words mentioned by the Annihilationist, but she didn’t have time to think about it, as another black-clothed “residue” had already instantly moved to her side.

Taking advantage of a sinister dead angle, this freak’s arm raised, and several “limbs” with sharp blades and spikes already swept towards Lucrecia!

Lucrecia’s figure suddenly dissipated in color and coalesced a few meters away, and at the same time, she had already raised the baton in her hand and pointed it at the enemy from a distance.

However, in the next second, the “enemy” in her eyes was hazy for a moment, and had already changed into a different appearance – the figure of Tirian appeared in the sky.

Tirion’s figure appeared there, looking at this side with a stunned expression.

“Lucy, you’ve run into trouble ……”

The baton in Lucrecia’s hand violently turned into an exaggeratedly shaped giant scythe, and then she raised this terrifying weapon high, and without hesitation, she slashed down towards “Tirion’s” head.

“Just this little trick?” As her enemy was cut in two by the scythe, Lucrecia’s face was stained with blood, she smiled and turned her head towards the Annihilationist standing in the distance, “Are you used to bullying ordinary people with weak minds?”

The Annihilationist didn’t say anything, but the soot jellyfish floating beside him suddenly contracted and expanded for a moment, immediately afterward, Lucrecia heard the sound of wind beside her ears, and when she turned her head to look at it, it was the clockwork mannequin “Luni” that had served her for many years that was standing not far away with a face of bewilderment and trepidation.

Without hesitation, the giant sickle lifted up and slashed down, cutting Luni’s figure into a pile of flying gears and ceramic fragments, and these palpitating fragments turned into filthy flesh and blood before they hit the ground.

In the next second, Taran El’s figure replaced one of the “black scum” and appeared in front of Lucrecia’s eyes.

She also raised her hand without hesitation, and swung – while continuously swinging, she took a step towards the Annihilationist who was messing up the battlefield.

The Rabbit Rabbi’s figure appeared, and was chopped in two by her without hesitation.

Light Wind Harbor Consul Sara Meier appeared in front of her, still swinging with a single slash.

Looking at the Annihilationist who was gradually showing a look of fear, there was only a hint of contempt in the bottom of the “Witch of the Sea’s” eyes.

There was a slight crackling noise nearby, and Lucrecia looked up to see her father in front of her.

She finally hesitated, and for the first time, the nervousness and fear that was almost embedded in her soul stopped her in her tracks.

Still, in the next second, she shook her head vigorously, shaking all hesitation behind her and raising her scythe high in her hand.

“This mental attack is an improvement, but it’s not enough!”

The scythe swung down.

Lucrecia didn’t notice the momentary blank dismay on the Annihilationist’s face not far away.

She saw the ghostly green flame that suddenly and spontaneously burned on her scythe.

The “father’s phantom” in front of her raised his hand, squeezed the blade of his scythe, and looked at himself with a surprised expression.

“Lucy, are you sleepy?”

Lucrecia stopped stiffly.

This …… is true.

(Surprise!
On a side note, it took a lot of effort to save these five chapters ……

There’s been a lot going on in real life for most of the year, and there’s really no way to maintain a steady double-shift rhythm, and I’m not even sure how much time I actually have to write every day, so I thought I’d make an effort to explode for once or not, and I tried to save up some of the saved manuscripts to come out so that it’d at least be a bigger surprise.

Also, don’t worry, I won’t take tomorrow off.
