Chapter 909: What you’re looking for is always here.
Chapter 896: What You’re Looking For Has Always Been There
Korie set off, taking the various props that Saul had given her with her, and heading to the Kemah Duchy in a covert manner. And Saul and Byron, who stayed behind, will help Korie cover up her absence.
The two are very busy right now, trying to mine the white bone monsters in the Chaos Rift as quickly as possible while also sending people around to look for any possible eye of the wind.
At the same time, Saul was also acting as a relay station for information, constantly sending messages to several people in Shia.
Time passed little by little.
When Keri successfully met up with Shaya and changed her face to enter the Kemah Duchy, in the distant continent of Nephrite, someone approached the Black Flame Emperor Ai Luo who had already returned to the capital.
Ai Luo was sitting in the palace at this time.
His wife had just left to accompany their 46th child to become literate, which would have been a cozy scene, but Ai Luo was still frowning.
When he heard the guards come over to report that a sorcerer from the Court of Judgment had come for an audience, he still got up with a frown on his face.
“Have they brought news of Stuart?”
The guards immediately replied, “Back to Your Majesty, it shouldn’t have anything to do with Lord Stuart, the one who came is a sorcerer lord that he has never seen before.”
Because of the same desire to guard their home, their people, Aello and Frim came together and co-founded the Court of Judgment.
All at such a great cost, yet Frim still refused to inform Aiello what exactly he was doing all this for!
This made Ai Luo gradually feel more uneasy in his disbelief.
As soon as Ai Luo heard this, he had no interest in meeting the envoy from the Judgment Court.
The reasoning behind the ruling order given by Flim began to become more and more unclear.
However, Ai Luo, who was wrapped up in everything, spent more time dealing with the internal affairs of the continent, and when he came back to his senses one day, he realized that the adjudication court’s wrists had already reached out to the other two continents, and there had even been multiple continent-spanning pursuits, for which their relationship with the Stargate Council was once incredibly tense.
Recently he had another fight with Flim. It was simply a quarrel, and no further conflict confrontation broke out. The other party had lost his most trusted vassal and the heir he had chosen for himself and for Blackitis, so Frim’s bottom line in confronting him wasn’t as strong as before.
Among them were even a few third-order wizards. The most recent one, naturally, was the famous Golza.
As for going outside to bring back help, Aello was even more dismissive.
It might just be that one morning, Frim had said that someone was a sinner in the wizarding world and had to be purged.
In the end, there was an accident, he didn’t even make it out of Nefertiti, the Red Sea Tree was destroyed, and even Aero’s inner circle folded in the otherwise not-so-large Black Tide attack.
At one time, Ai Luo also told himself that he had long since stopped touching the core affairs of the Ruling Court, so he wasn’t sure whether or not there was a hidden agenda in Flim’s actions, but when Flim had to take a shot at Golza time and time again, and even after the Glow Family came to demonstrate, even if he turned from the bright to the dark he still had to count on Golza, Ai Luo couldn’t really think of anything else.
But although that guy had slightly bowed down in terms of his aura, the decision he had made did not have the slightest room for change. It wasn’t the first time that Aello had clashed with Frim in terms of perception and action.
But a Golza, why would he go out of his way to deplete the Ruling Court’s underbelly and leave Nefert during the Black Tide?
Aello couldn’t see the Stargate Council doing that. Regardless of whether the Stargate was safe or not, there were only so many top-level wizards who could ultimately rely on the Stargate to leave.
But gradually, Ai Luo realized that he couldn’t see Frim’s acting style either.
The guards beside Emperor Ai Luo were also first-rank wizards, and ordinary people, not to mention serving Ai Luo, would even approach him for a long period of time due to the effects of magical radiation, which would lead to all sorts of physical problems until death.
With Stuart’s soul never being found, this uneasiness was growing.
“Why has there been no news of Stuart? He clearly disappeared in front of everyone’s eyes. Even if he was only a third-ranked sorcerer, his spiritual power and soul were both very strong, so how could he be destroyed by the mermaid mutant with a single blow, without even a few residual soul fragments?”
Out of this agitation, Ai Luo finally waved his hand, “If there’s anything, let them go to the ministers to discuss it.”
The guards immediately promised, “Yes, Your Majesty.” However this guard returned with a tangled face shortly after retiring.
“Your Majesty, they said …… that it was a request from the Lord of the Frim Court that requires your cooperation, Your Majesty.”
After saying that, the guard lowered his head.
Facing the tough ruling court, even their emperor had to compromise many times.
Ai Luo snorted coldly, he would not compromise today!
But before Ai Luo could send the guards back again, a figure had already stepped into the garden in front of the chambers.
Although Ai Luo was in the room, he still discovered the intruder at first.
Now even a sorcerer from the Court of Judgment dared to disregard his majesty so much?
“Then send a few corpses back to them, or to sober up Frim’s men.”
Thinking like this, Ai Luo’s eyes narrowed, and his entire body suddenly turned into a black flame and disappeared from the room.
In the next second, his figure appeared at the entrance of the garden, and he lifted up a first-ranked sorcerer who was probing in front of the door.
Black flames rose up on that sorcerer, and the seized sorcerer immediately let out a miserable cry.
Black Flame was Ai Luo’s signature sorcery and the origin of the name of the entire Black Flame Empire.
Ai Luo could burn this unintelligent first rank sorcerer to ashes in an instant with Black Flame, but what deterrent effect could burning to ashes serve?
It would be better to steam him a little bit into a dry corpse, sprinkle some spices on it, and then send it back in the bread.
I’m sure it will give a deep impression to those wizards of the Court of Judgment.
The black flames, like Ai Luo’s limbs, were manipulated by him at will, and he was soon able to vaporize all the moisture in the sorcerer’s body.
Just then, the other witch standing outside the garden gate raised both arms to signal her innocence.
“Your Majesty Aello, after you have burned this impudent fellow to ashes, may I be allowed to report a few things to you? I promise not to delay you from enjoying your lunch in a few moments.”
Leah was a little nervous in the bottom of her heart, but in order to accomplish her goal, she still hardened her heart and opened her mouth in front of the visibly angered Emperor Ai Luo.
Ai Luo glanced at Leah, who immediately folded her hands in a pleading manner and lowered her posture to a low level.
Such a respectful attitude made the nameless fire in Ai Luo’s heart a little smaller, so he decided not to torture the impudent sorcerer in his hands, and directly cremated the person into ashes and sprinkled them as fertilizer in the garden.
He clapped his hands after the flames went out and said in a tone that still had a bad taste in it, “What do you want to say? I’ll only give you three sentences.”
Three sentences?
Leah’s mouth turned bitter.
Her mind raced, knowing that she was said to be given three sentences, but if the first sentence didn’t satisfy Her Majesty Aello, then she likely wouldn’t have the chance to say the second.
It was thought that there were some things that could not be hidden away until the time was right.
“Sire Aello,” Leah lowered her voice, “what you are looking for has been there.”
