Chapter 899: White Bone Rhapsody
Chapter 886 – White Bone Rhapsody
It never occurred to Saul that he had only been away for a year (the three days he came back in between didn’t count), and that Korie had already turned Radiant Sorcery into a means of fighting the Black Tide contamination.
“Black Tide contamination is not bound to the way it touches the source of the contamination. In that case, it does seem likely that the contamination is also a wave. But it has wave properties without being exactly a wave, or else it wouldn’t explain the other properties of the contamination.”
Saul took two steps in place, then suddenly turned his head and asked Kori, “How did you do the experiment?”
Kori pursed up her mouth and her eyes began to roam.
Byron, who was half silent on the side, coughed softly, “Ahem, we brought the White Bone Monster Fish from the Chaotic Domain.”
“I knew it was. It was obvious that you were only allowed to conduct experiments on the White Monster Monster in the Chaotic Domain, but you ended up bringing it over here anyway.”
Korie muttered in a small voice, “You know we’re proper wizards, the more we’re not allowed to experiment, the more we want to.”
Byron was more serious still, “Instead of experimenting nearby, we found a dead desert. Cleaned up the remaining lifeforms around it as well. Made sure the contamination wouldn’t be carried out.”
Saul didn’t actually blame them.
After all, the monster he had seen in the chaotic domain in the first place had also been brought back to the Wizarding World by him once. It was only after realizing that the black powder that had been inerted in the monster’s body was showing signs of revival when he entered the magic-rich world that Saul brought the monster back to the chaotic domain as soon as possible.
But Kori had taken care to protect her brain and soul when casting spells, and her mind was not dulled by the radiation.
The metal skin on her body was pliable, but the side effects of the radiation slowed her body’s reactions.
Byron, on the other hand, pulled Thor back a few steps, leaving Korie a space where she could cast her spells.
Korie then also retreated the metal skin around her body to re-change into the alpha plus metal in her palm and sealed it with a special forbidden sealing spell crystal ball.
After that, the metal seemed to precipitate out of Kagome’s pores and covered her entire body.
After waiting for about five minutes, Saul, in conjunction with Byron, immediately activated the inertization formula, causing the black tide around Korie’s body to change back into black powder.
Saul stood outside the barrier, staring intently at the changes in the fluctuating collision between Korie and the black tide.
The Alpha Plus melted in Kagome’s palm and seemed to burrow into her body.
Saul’s body was currently unharmed, but that was all that could be said about it.
Kagome’s movements became sluggish when she was fully armored.
Resulting in the two never really touching each other from start to finish.
“Well, since your experiments have been verified, I can’t say anything else now. Let’s go to the chaotic domain …… No it’s better to wait for me to recuperate and recover my condition to its peak before going over.”
Although the Alpha Plus Metal was made by Kagome, its killing power was so great that even Kagome could not be exposed to it for a long period of time without proper protection.
So Korie directly took out her Alpha Plus Metal and utilized her own original special sorcery, the Armor of Illusion.
In the Chaos Domain, the effects of magic were reduced by the extremely low elemental particle activity to a level that wouldn’t cause too much damage.
Next, he spent the next seven days adjusting himself to optimal condition and removing the vast majority of the contaminants from his body.
Kori then gave Byron a gesture, and Byron immediately activated the reverse inerting formula, which meant that the inerted black powder surrounding Kori was turned back into a black tide with stronger polluting properties.
Afterwards, the two of them, Korie and Byron, who had also finished their preparations, joined Saul in the Chaos Domain.
He noticed that the special magic power fluctuation on Korie’s body was like the metal skin on her body, tightly and regularly distributed around her body, while the nearby reactivated black tide close to her kept a layer of separation from her body because of the unseen repulsive force.
When Korrie stepped out of the experimental area, Sol immediately greeted her.
They had a set of instruments to test the level of contamination, but Saul didn’t need them, he directly transformed his hand into a gray translucent tentacle that covered the back of Keri’s neck.
Keri’s movement forward paused for a moment, and then asked as if nothing had happened, “How was it, did you detect any contamination?” “Yes!”
Kagome’s eyes widened.
“But it’s within acceptable limits, or nowhere near the tipping point where it would harm your body.”
“Big gasp.” Kagome rolled her eyes.
Now that she was a young girl in her teens, rolling her eyes looked good.
Saul, however, did not pay attention to Korie’s blank stare, this unique discovery of the other party on the Black Tide pollution gave him a new idea.
“Can others master this radiation sorcery of yours?”
“Theoretically it is possible, but it’s difficult.” Korrie pondered this question as well, “My body has adapted to the radiation of alpha metal, others who wish to use this sorcery will have to adapt to it from the weakest beta metal radiation until they can attempt this sorcery when they won’t die from alpha plus.”
“In that case, unless one relies on time to slowly acclimatize to the radiation, as you do, only a sorcerer of the third order or higher would be able to use this sorcery.”
Korrie shrugged, “Of the Third Order only you, a sorcerer who has bathed in the Black Tide, would dare to try it easily, right?”
Black slender tentacles reached out from the back of Sol’s neck, and were pressed back by Sol’s raised hand, “It’s nothing to do with you, Koho.”
Holding down the little one who thought he heard his name, Saul said to Kori, “My bath is not a pleasant one at all. I also really want this Phantom Demon’s Armor of yours. But none of the black tide pollution concentrations tested so far are very high, not comparable to the black tide gushing out of the Eye of the Wind, and even worse to the black tide near the Eye of the Abyss.”
Byron just finished packing up the equipment for the experiment and approached the two, “We have never experimented with a high concentration of black tide before.”
The most daring thing these two had ever done was to think about it.
The three did not leave the test site.
They had just conducted the first phase of the experiment, and there was a second phase below.
The second phase of the experiment was one of Saul’s best ideas for utilizing white bone monsters.
He had Byron apply a simple attack command to the white bone monster fish, and then Korie, clad in the Armor of Illusion Magic, guided the white bone monster to attack the specific object of attack.
This experiment also went well.
But the main reason was that this was a chaotic domain, and the White Bone Monster Fish only had some physical killing power left. Even if it wasn’t Kagome, even if she wasn’t wearing the Armor of Illusion Magic, the person manipulating the White Bone Monster Fish wouldn’t be harmed by the pollution.
Korie jumped down from the Monster Fish.
The monstrous fish crawled like a snake across the desert of the chaotic domain, but it looked much bulkier and should be very sensitive if it could move in water.
“The white bone monster fish is not lethal in the chaotic domain.” Korie’s eyes crystallized as she looked at Sol and asked excitedly, “Are you asking us to do this experiment, are you trying to bring the White Bone Monster Fish to the Wizard World to deal with other people?”
Saul laughed, “You’re very smart!”
“It’s not obvious!” Keri was not modest at all, she came closer to Sol and asked as if she was inquiring a secret, “Tell me, what kind of people are you trying to deal with by taking the risk of bringing the White Bone Monster Fish to the Wizarding World as well?”
Saul didn’t hide his two best friends and directly said a name.
“Frim.”
Korie and Byron at the side all looked at Saul in surprise.
They had just given Saul a surprise, and now Saul unceremoniously gave them a shock back!
