Chapter 838 – Xander’s Stepmother

Chapter 838 – Xander’s Stepmother

The Black Tide meeting that was halfway through was forced to abort due to the sudden outburst of two Fourth Order.

Alfonso found his way over and hurried back to the makeshift palace with Saul, dropping the man off before disappearing again in an instant.

After Sol returned to the palace, he couldn’t help but think about the fact that the Lord of the Court of Judgment and the Emperor of Black Flame were explicitly allies.

However, just like the Stargate Council, the Court of Judgment also had two fourth-ranked sorcerers, but these two sorcerers also had a conflict of interest.

At the point of a fourth-order sorcerer, they would not compete for ordinary small profits. Under the threat of the Black Tide, even the division of the country was more Buddhist.

For two fourth-order to be able to directly confront each other with spiritual power pressure despite being discovered by their men, the interests involved were not small, I’m afraid.

It was also the first time for the several consciousnesses in the diary to see two fourth-order sorcerers dueling, and even Beth was sighing softly.

【It is possible for two fourth-order to directly confront each other, and I am afraid that the interests involved are not small】.

Saul guessed, “Maybe it involves the defense deployment and logistical supply of the Black Tide?”

Even without experience, Saul understood that fighting against the Black Tide was not just about wizards rushing to the forefront, but also the subsequent supply of resources, personnel mobilization, etc., which involved resources and money that would not be a small amount.

The resources of ordinary people, wizards might not care too much about, but if it was related to sorcery resources, or even some promotion pathways, the wizards would fight to the death just like ordinary people.

Agu lamented about another matter.

[I thought that only the two fourth-order sorcerers of the Stargate Council were not in agreement, but I didn’t realize that the two fourth-order sorcerers of the Court of Judgment also had such a big conflict.]

Herman had a different view.

[Maybe they’re just mixing it up, but it’s a bit more powerful, haha!

If a fourth-ranked sorcerer quarreled, then naturally it would not have the same impact as an ordinary person quarrelling.

But then again, at this level of the Fourth Order, it was already rare for them to come to blows over verbal conflicts.

So Saul still felt that there must be some sort of conflict between the two.

“It just so happens that I met up with the Stuart wizard to discuss the problem, so maybe I can try to find out why they clashed.”

If it was usual, Saul wouldn’t care about the relationship between the two fourth orders of the Court of Judgment, but right now, he was in Nefret, and was still invited over by someone from the Court of Judgment. Already having Ophelia’s previous experience, Saul wouldn’t think that a fourth-order sorcerer would get in the way of his status and Golza’s relationship and not take action against himself.

Saul sat down, took out the experimental notes that he had seen halfway through earlier and started to read them, but again, he realized that he couldn’t read them.

He helplessly threw the book down on the table.

“It seems like every place is full of disputes.”

Herman and Agu fell silent.

For they realized that it did seem to be the case.

But Beth was not impressed.

[The Eye of the Abyss threatens the survival of the entire world. It would be fine if there was no hope of survival, but now there is hope, but the number of spots for hope is limited. Who wouldn’t have their own petty thoughts at a time like this?]

Sorcerers, for the most part, are very practical egoists.

Saul was also contending, only because of his own special characteristics, he was contending in a more hidden way.

He had just returned, and before his chair was even warmed up, there was a knock at the door.

Not light and not heavy, very regular.

It should be the attendant who often led the way for him.

Saul went over to open the door and was not surprised to see the squire standing in the doorway with an embarrassed look on his face.

“What can I do for you?”

“Do you have time now, Lord Sol? His Majesty Alyxandrah has asked you to come over.” The attendant spoke carefully.

“Xander?” Saul thought it was Xander who had something for him and was just about to say yes when he was interrupted by a clear voice.

“Sorcerer Saul doesn’t have the time right now, go back and tell His Dear Majesty the Emperor to please wait a few more days.”

Royer was full of smiles as he strutted over. He stood in front of Sol, not the least bit embarrassed to make a decision for Sol.

“O Saul, our candidate just arrived today, do you want to go see my bloodline fusion experiment?”

Xander’s stepmother and brother had already arrived from the fiefdom?

Sol really wanted to see Royer’s bloodline fusion experiment.

So he asked the scowling squire sideways, “Xander is he in a hurry?”

Royer squinted over.

The squire shook his head repeatedly, “There’s no hurry, there’s no hurry, His Majesty said to just ask you to come over when you’re free.”

Looking at the awe on the squire’s face, but no anxiety, Sol knew that there was indeed no hurry on Xander’s side.

So he didn’t reject Royer’s offer either, “Then I’ll go first to see how amazing the bloodline fusion really is!”

Having won the fight against a commoner, Royer wasn’t much proud of himself, he just hurriedly pulled Saul onto another carriage.

Sol was taken out of the palace by Royer and settled in an estate outside.

The buildings of Neverwinter Nights were generally spacious to the point of being empty. This place was no exception.

Passing through the leaf-covered front yard, Saul saw a woman standing at the foyer looking out.

This woman was already over forty years old, but her appearance was still visible from back then.

On top of her head, she wore a small, simple gold crown and a dark purple tweed dress.

When she saw Saul and Royer approaching, she gracefully performed a skirt-lifting salute.

“Good afternoon to you two lords.”

“Winnisha, where is your son?” Royer was not in the habit of saluting and came up and went straight to the point.

“Harry has already started soaking in the medicinal bath as you instructed.” A sweet smile welled up on Winnisha’s face, making it hard to imagine that she had once forced Xander and Midol, who were still children, to live in Neverwinter Nights and only fled to the Stat continent.

“Quite well behaved.” Royer continued to walk inside, only to reach out and pinch his opponent as he passed Winnetouch.

Winnisa immediately pursed her lips, but quickly relaxed again.

She looked again at Sol, who was walking behind Royer, and although she didn’t recognize Sol, had keenly observed that the two were on equal footing.

The Winnisha in front of her was not the subject of the bloodline fusion, and Saul only glanced at her before immediately following Royer into the house.

Royer skillfully maneuvered through the manor, for Winnisha seemed to be reminded and did not follow him into it.

“Is Wynetha Xander’s stepmother?”

“Yeah.”

“I just realized she has a nice mental body, is it surprising she hasn’t become a witch?”

“Not everyone can stand the tedium and danger of becoming a wizard.” Royer stopped in front of a door to a room and reached out to twist open the handle.

White water vapor immediately bubbled out along the doorway, and the heat that came out made it possible to imagine the temperature inside.

When Saul stepped inside, he saw a teenage boy standing in a pool of water with a red face.

The liquid in the pool was brown and the water came up to the boy’s chest.

A smell of rotting apples drilled into Saul’s nostrils from the pool.

“Is this cleaning out impurities?”

Saul observed the layout of the room.

Except for the spacious pool, the rest of the place was not much different from an ordinary living room.

Royer nodded, “Yes, what if we don’t clean it up a bit and contaminate the mermaid royal bloodline?”
