Chapter 807: Calmness

Chapter 807 Temperance
Mina has begun to touch witchcraft.

Normally, the best age for an ordinary person to be exposed to witchcraft was between ten and eighteen.

When exposed to it early, the spiritual power and magical potential were unstable and could be contaminated.

Contacting it late, there is not enough time to learn. If one could not advance to a third level apprentice before the age of thirty, one would also face the danger of being contaminated.

But Mina had accepted Sol’s transformation in order to stay alive. Saul was also very kind to this little girl, consuming a second-order sorcerer to help her survive and improve Mina’s qualifications.

As long as Mina put in a little effort, it was only a matter of time before she became a full-fledged first-order sorcerer.

Sol asked about a few other acquaintances in Sky City.

I don’t know if it was because Saul was more stealthy in his dealings with those few apprentices and didn’t attract other people’s attention, or if Ophelia was simply too lazy to bother with the sorcerer’s apprentices, but anyway, Nathan’s few people were unaffected.

They were only startled by the aerial battle between the fourth and fifth ranked wizards.

And after that great battle, Sky City was strangely calm. Even the air harbor, which had been forbidden for nearly half a year, was completely unsealed and could be entered and exited as normal as before.

Although there was no evidence, Saul always felt that all of this had nothing to do with Kismet.

The next time was to wait for the Chaotic Domain Compass to cool down.

During this time Floco was mainly explaining to Byron how to better utilize his spiritual power.

Sometimes he would also use himself as an example.

Thinking of Floco’s Water Elf status, Saul inserted an impromptu question, “Lord Floco, in your time, there were many people who called themselves gods. Is there any difference between a god and the current fourth and fifth orders? Is there really such energy as the power of faith?”

Byron’s eyes widened when he heard Saul’s question, finally realizing that this Floco in front of him might be more than third rank.

Floco didn’t answer Saul immediately, but instead pondered for a moment before saying, “I don’t know if there’s the power of faith in other worlds outside the Stargate, but there shouldn’t be one in the current Sorcerer’s World.”

“In the Crescent Moon Era before the Dark Moon Era, many Fourth and Fifth Order existences used to call themselves gods to the outside world. But they were actually more like the lords of a power, similar to the current kings and sorcerers of great powers. The faith they needed was actually more of a means to control their followers in turn. This kind of faith can give them power, but it doesn’t translate into real power.”

“However, if the scope of the definition is relaxed, how is the might brought about by this kind of faith not a kind of power?”

“Also, I’ve heard that there are gods that can gain a vague kind of power by expanding their bloodlines and forces. It can be transformed into a potential energy to a certain extent, influencing future fortunes. This kind of potential energy can’t be seen, can’t be touched, and is even harder to define than luck. Yet there are a few Fifth Ranks that have personally admitted to the existence of this kind of potential energy, making me believe in its existence.”

Floco’s description did remind Saul of a word – Qi Luck.

There was just no way to ask for proof now.

But there was no hurry, Saul had a good opportunity to experiment right in front of him.

The Blackwater City established by Noah now was entirely a force of faith in Saul.

This world had a low hierarchy, and it was easy to claim a god. Saul decided that in the future, he would let Anne cooperate with Noah’s god-making program and personally feel whether faith could bring about qi luck.

Anyway, Noah called himself a great magistrate, so he must be preparing to become a god in the future, and Saul didn’t mind helping him speed up his progress.

As time passed by, the Chaotic Domain Compass was activated once again, bringing Saul and the three of them back to the Pure Spirit Wizard Tower.

Just after returning, Floco collapsed to the ground, and then Kate woke up with a grunt.

His control over the mermaid’s body was still rusty, and he couldn’t get up after lying on the ground for half a day.

And he wasn’t surprised at the situation he was in, supposedly because Floco had already explained it to him.

“Help, help …… water ……” Kate was on the ground, bouncing around like a fish being landed.

Saul conjured up a large tank of water and threw the mermaid right in.

Kate spit a few bubbles in the water, then sank to the bottom with a peaceful face.

Looking at Kate’s appearance, Saul knew that he was in no hurry to get out of the mermaid’s body.

Thinking about checking on the algae, Saul turned his head and prepared to say goodbye to Byron. Who would have guessed that as soon as he turned his head, he saw a heavy shadow appear on Byron’s face.

It was as if he had a blurry eye and saw one person as two people who were almost overlapping each other.

It was just that that other face did not resemble Byron, nor did it have the same expression.

But it was a face Saul had seen before.

A half-elf that he had only seen once.

But at this moment, seeing this face again Saul was not happy.

He did not dislike the half-elf, and even admired the other party’s generosity to death, and also thanked the other party for the large amount of magic power he gave himself in the end.

But that didn’t mean Saul was willing to see a half-elf in Byron.

The scene previewed earlier in the golden pages was still fresh in his mind.

After overloading his mental power to save Saul, Byron was pulled by those chaos-like elves to the world they were in.

Now Saul already knew that that world of light was the interior of the world wall.

Although Saul had never been there, he knew for sure that the interior of the world wall must be ten thousand times more terrifying and dangerous than the mezzanine floor of the Golsa Sorcerer’s Tower.

Thinking of all this, Saul suppressed his anger and said to the heavy shadow on Byron, “If you dare to take Senior Byron away, in the future, even if I chisel my way through the world wall, I’ll still go and crush you into powder!”

The heavy shadow on Byron then disappeared.

Originally, Byron was staring at the mermaid in the water tank, and when he heard Saul’s words, he was surprised and turned back to pat Saul’s shoulder, only smiling and saying two words.

“Lighten up.”

Saul cried and laughed, and could only leave first.

Just as he went out the door, he was greeted by a fiery red mass!
“Sol!!!”

Korie, who had come out of the lab at an unknown time, ran headlong into Saul’s arms.

It was like a bull bumping into a matador.

Saul only had to pat Korrie’s head, “Doing what?”

Only then did Keri jump back, “You see I’m already at the second rank!”

Sol nodded, “See.”

“No, you didn’t see it. I’ll show you.” Without further ado, Korrie pulled Saul by the hand and led him to the lab she was in.

Halfway there, he happened to meet Hope, the butler, who seemed to have something to say to Saul. But he took one look at Korrie holding Saul’s hand, and stood silently against the wall, giving way to the stairway, only to salute the two in greeting as they passed.

“Good afternoon, Lord Tower Master, and good afternoon, Lord Korrie.”

Saul only had time to nod at the steward before Kori pulled away again.

When he arrived at Kori’s lab, he realized that Kori had already modified the lab from head to toe.

Whereas the walls of the previous lab were surrounded by masonry, Kori’s lab was a dark gray metal on the top and bottom.

“Did you make this wall out of your own material?” Saul went up and touched it, it felt slightly rough to the touch.

“Yes, specifically to isolate the radiation.” Kori closed the door, and deliberately locked it, and activated the sorcery spell on it.

“It’s time for my show down there!” Korrie laughed out loud and ran to a forbidden cabinet and pulled out a test tube.

Thor fixed his eyes on it, wasn’t that a part of his soul fragment that he had stored the Black Tide contamination?
What was Korrie going to perform?
