Chapter 542.

Chapter 542 – A Prestigious Name
The person who caught Saul was the butler, Hope.

He helped Saul into the gate, and then glanced towards the sky outside.

Because of the fog surging just now, at this time, he could already see a small piece of the sky directly above his head.

And in that small piece of sky, a colorful butterfly was spinning and flying.

After Saul entered the Sorcerer’s Tower, he immediately felt much less sleepiness on his body.

It changed from that state where one could fall asleep while standing to a state of constant yawning.

He followed the butler’s gaze and looked up as well, and similarly saw the butterflies.

Only in the sky behind the butterfly, there was a thin veil of clouds forming a blurry human face.

“A dream maker?” Saul muttered.

But even such a small voice was answered.

“Yes.”

The voice resounded from within the brain, making one wonder if they had fallen asleep without realizing it.

“I want your Nightmare Butterfly.”

Saul was just about to speak when he was interrupted again by the other party.

“Don’t lie to me. I saw it.”

The words that were just about to come out of his mouth were interrupted, and Saul pursed his lips as he pondered his response.

It was amazing that the worst had happened so quickly.

“It seems I underestimated the abilities of a third order wizard after all.”

“Hand over the Nightmare Butterfly and I’ll recognize you as occupying Lake Rhine. If you don’t hand over the Nightmare Butterfly, I’ll let you become Lake Rhine.”

There was no vehemence in the voice, and it sounded with a slight yawning aftertaste.

It sounded less like a threat and more like a sleepy murmur.

Saul frowned tightly.

He was actually perfectly capable of handing Penny over.

And then use the diary to pull the Nightmare Butterfly back in when Clark was gone.

At that point, he’d just have to pretend he didn’t know anything about it and chalk Penny’s disappearance up to Clark’s negligence.

But he couldn’t be sure that Clark would not cast some sort of forbidden sorcery once he got Penny, or even just destroy her.

It was more likely that his opponent had captured Penny to use for some kind of sorcery than to try to breed it.

“If there’s no other way, I’m afraid I’ll have to use another golden book page. I know almost nothing about Clark, and it may take dozens of deaths to find a way out.”

Just as Saul was struggling with which card to play first, Hope, the butler who was holding him up on the side, suddenly spoke up.

“This is the Sorcerer’s Tower of the House of Glow, may I ask the purpose of the Dream Maker’s Grand Master’s visit here.”

As soon as the name Glow came out, the human faces in the sky immediately looked at the steward.

This time no voice rang out in Sol’s head, but the butler’s expression changed as if he had heard something.

After two seconds, the butler replied calmly, ”It is true that my current master is not of the Phaeton family’s bloodline. However, his mentor, my former master, is currently at the Wall of Sighs. If the Black Tide occurs, perhaps you will be able to meet him and fight with him.”

The face in the sky stopped there and stopped floating.

After a moment, Saul heard the voice in his head again.

“Your mentor is Gortha?”

It seemed that the other party had guessed Golza’s identity from Hope’s description.

Although he didn’t know how the other party came up with Golza, it was no longer the time to continue hiding it.

“Yes.” Sol answered.

The human face made of clouds blinked slowly.

“Tell your mentor that he owes me now.”

The butterfly suddenly took a wing and flew off into the distance. The clouds also dispersed, out of shape.

A gray mist rewrapped the lake island.

The drowsiness disappears and Saul steps out of the wizard’s tower.

“Does Clark have a grudge against my mentor?”

Behind him, Hope shook her head, “I’m not sure, Lord Tower Master. I just thought that I would identify myself first, and if the other party insists on forming a grudge, you will still need to step in at that time, Tower Lord.”

Hope was probably taking care of Sol’s face.

But with the actual benefits, Saul didn’t really care about face either.

“I can’t believe that Mentor Golza still knows a dream maker, but I haven’t heard him say that before.” It was because Tutor Golza hadn’t mentioned anyone when he suggested that Saul enter the Masterless Land. This made Saul think that his mentor either had no connections here …… or was just as poorly connected as when he was in the western region!

It was unthinkable that this big flag could even pull one when facing a third-order sorcerer.

As for the favor owed …… anyway, the dream maker said that it was owed by Tutor Golza.

It’s none of his Saul’s business!
Peace of mind, Saul walked over to the old witch who was lying on the ground.

“Old hag, wake up, the enemies are far away.”

The old hag opened her eyes and looked clear, not at all like someone who had just woken up.

She got up from the ground in a flash, looked at the sky, and then looked at Saul beside her, but there wasn’t much surprise in her eyes.

“I knew you must have a backstage.” The old hag was quite pleased with herself, as if she had driven Clark away, “But what exactly did you say? Who exactly is your mentor? Why did it scare Clark away.”

Saul didn’t answer the old hag’s question, “Clark shouldn’t have been scared away. He probably just weighed the costs and benefits and didn’t think it was a good fit before he left.”

“Go into the tower. Don’t take it lightly. Clark left this time, but it’s not impossible for him to come back. After all, my mentor isn’t here either.”

Perhaps the commotion of Clark’s visit to the Pure Spirit Sorcerer’s Tower was too great, and the matter quickly went from a secret between a few people to a new rumor in the Land of the Unknowns.

Many of the Dodge Wizard’s old patrons had heard that Lake Rhine had a new owner and had been recognized by Clark the Dream Maker.

After all, the fact that people were still alive after Clark’s departure meant that they were recognized in the eyes of outsiders.

And Sol’s ability to heal pollution was also spread on a small scale.

Gaja Drum obviously didn’t want to lose the magical healer so easily, and only spread the word of Sol to those he thought were reliable.

Gaga Drum was definitely not the only one who had been eroded by the contamination and could even perish at any time in the Land of the Masterless.

Unless they had no choice, wizards didn’t want to expose their fragile physical and mental bodies to other wizards.

Borrowing the name of his mentor, Saul got another month of free time to develop and remodel his wizard tower.

Hopper, the butler, added new furniture to each floor of the wizard tower.

Plus after being protected by the Sorcerer’s Tower for once, Saul finally had the feeling that he was closely connected to the Sorcerer’s Tower.

He took most of his experimental equipment and potions out of the storage and put them into the third floor of the Pure Spirit Sorcerer Tower.

Together with a drop of Black Tide and two vials of Contaminant of the Masterless Lands, Saul once again began his research.

One month later.

Agu finally woke up.

The diary flipped open.

Agu: [Master.

Saul, who is tinkering in the basement, stops and rises to focus on this particularly complete black page in the diary.

“Any new feelings?” He asked casually, placing the carving knife he was holding for inscribing spells casually on a side shelf.

Agu: [I …… can’t really say.]

“But what took you so long to fuse the other two parts of your own soul?”

Saul picked up a probe from the bottom shelf and walked around the room.

Agu: [I’ve been separated for too long. When I was fusing, I almost thought it was two other people, so it took a long time to accept their experiences and perceptions].

“It didn’t take that long for Anne to sneak off and absorb a strange soul in the first place. Did you encounter any difficulties?”

An: [Cry, master, I was wrong! I didn’t call that absorption, I called it devouring. I only devoured Duma’s energy and his specific memories, I spit out the rest!”]

“So that’s it.” Sol stopped and looked at his other few black pages, none of which were as complete and smooth as this one of Agu.

“That is to say, even the soul of Herman that I extracted directly from the corpse is not very complete …… Is it my technical skill or has Herman’s soul ever been extracted by someone else?”

But it’s also possible that Herman was “accidentally” broken up a lot during the fight between the consciousness platform and the evil spirit Morton.

“Either way, it’s good to be awake.”

Saul took two more steps forward to the corner of the basement of the Sorcerer’s Tower.

At that moment, the detector pointed to a value that was highly approximate to the one he had just calculated.

“This is it.” Making several fine adjustments, Saul determined a most accurate location.

He then raised his hand to greet the butler.

“You said that the Sorcerer’s Tower can continue to be extended, so I want to continue down and dig out a space with a floor height of no less than five meters.”

Hope smiled with a respectful face, “You have the heart of the Sorcerer’s Tower and can communicate with it directly.”

Hopper is referring to …… the black iron coffin?

Third shift!
