Chapter 443 – The Will to Resist
Chapter 443 The Will to Resist
Oliphia’s threat brought back memories of the days when Kismet used to wallow in the depths of the sea.
Compared to those times, life now was at least less desperate.
He tilted his head again, a sincere smile already on his face.
“Dear Lord Ophelia, the moment my original master abandoned me, he was my former master. I will not forget who my current master is.”
Ophelia stared into Kismet’s silver eyes for a moment and let out a soft laugh, “Little liar.”
She then retracted back into the mouth of the bottle, her slender swan-necked neck being twisted into a pulp-like existence the moment she entered the glazed bottle, mixing into the original solution of the glazed bottle.
“You can stay in Iskepel for the time being, anywhere you want to play except Sky City.”
Kismet gave a nice gentleman’s salute, “Thank you so much. Your character already shines brighter than your beauty!”
“Oily mouth.” Ophelia didn’t eat this, “Did you also take a shot at Golza when you were in the western continent of Staat?”
“It was just a little trouble for him, how could I dare to take a shot at a quasi-third rank?”
“That’s not even remotely reliable coming from you.” Ophelia’s head squeezed into the glazed bottle a little bit, leaving only one sentence floating outside.
“Golza is the genius of Glow’s current generation, if you weave the threads of his destiny into the pages of a book, Glow’s Fourth Order won’t let you go.”
Kismet just smiled, “Don’t worry my lord, I’ll be careful and won’t let myself get entangled in it.”
……
The House of Glow is alone on one side of the world.
A world side was a small space where a fragment of a broken world, after bordering the main world, was absorbed by the main world and attached to it.
As soon as one entered this world side, one could see hundreds of wizard towers that stood at the entrance like city walls.
These sorcerer towers were of different shapes, heights, and styles, and had no neat and tidy beauty at all.
As Golza walked into this world side alone, a man’s voice came out from a lion sculpture on the side.
“Golza, you’ve finally returned.”
Golza stood still and did not enter.
Within a few minutes, someone flew over in a hurry.
Only this greeter was not friendly.
“There are still four years to go before the time comes, if you didn’t have an incident outside this time, would you have to wait until the final time limit for you to come back?”
The one who came over was a middle-aged looking man with a full head of blonde hair and a beard.
As soon as Golza saw the other party, his brows furrowed.
The visitor raised his chin, the mockery in his eyes not hidden at all.
“Running outside capriciously for so many years, without the slightest regard for the family mission that you bear. The clan leader-sama is just too permissive of you so-called geniuses. People with excellent magical talent like you should honestly stay in the clan compound and breed more excellent offspring for the clan!”
“Tsk!” Golza smacked his lips when he heard this, “All second-ranked wizards, and you still think of yourself as a family dog.”
The other party wasn’t angry, and even hooked the corner of his mouth, “So what, didn’t you come back as a family dog too?”
The cloak on Golza’s body shook gently, and a powerful wave of magic power emanated from him.
The man on the opposite side who was still complacent immediately lost his voice as if he had been strangled.
His eyes widened as he looked at Golza incredulously.
“How strange.” Golza said with a smirk, “It’s like you know that I’m the family’s genius, but then you always forget that.”
He took a step closer to the other man, “Now, greet me anew.”
The man’s eyes quivered, and in an instant he gathered all his emotions.
He slowly dropped to one knee and placed his hands interlocked in front of his forehead.
“Welcome back, Lord Gortha.”
Gortha paid no further attention to the provocateur.
It was common for wizards to compete for large amounts of resources for more knowledge. Behind the arrogant attitude was nothing more than a conflict of interests.
Golza traveled smoothly all the way to one of the less impressive wizard towers.
Ever since he hadn’t concealed the magic power in his body, no one had come out to stop him.
Finally, he entered the ground floor of this wizard tower. It was pitch black here, no picture could be seen and there was no sound.
But when he entered this dark space, a voice immediately resounded in his mind.
“You advance to the third rank.”
“Yes.”
“It was promoted by utilizing the power of Glow.”
“Yes.”
“You should understand the obligations that the third rank of the Glow family entails.”
“Understood.”
“There are two spare wizard towers here, and five in the northern mountains of Statt.”
Gortha suddenly interrupted the voice in the darkness, “How did the Northern Range become five Sorcerer’s Towers again? Didn’t Camus just pass it a hundred years ago?”
There was a silence from the voice in the darkness and no response for about five minutes.
“He died. Taken by the Black Tide of the Abyss.”
Gortha laughed softly, “I’ll just inherit his wizard’s tower then.”
“His sorcerer’s tower is closer to the Wall of Sighs. Away from the other sorcerer’s towers.”
“Just what I wanted.”
“The family still wants you to focus on advancing to the Fourth Order, we haven’t had a new Fourth Order born in a long time.”
Gortha, however, had already started to walk out the door, “I need a more suitable place to continue my experiments.”
……
A few days later, Thor headed to Bluewater Bay with a load of luggage.
In order to minimize magic consumption, he had the other consciousnesses return to their journals, leaving Agu alone outside.
Agu’s consciousness was the most awake of the four Consciousness Bodies, and with a wide range of knowledge levels to dabble in, he could give Saul a lot of help while he was out.
After staying the night at the lakeside lodge, Sol decided to take the airboat to Bluewater Bay first. Before the news of Golza leaving the Witch Tower spread, he whored out the airboat ticket once more.
And very coincidentally, when they boarded the airboat, they found that it was again the airship of the very businesslike Captain Harry.
The other party enthusiastically took the initiative to come over and greet Saul after realizing that there was Saul’s name among the guests. By the way, he promoted some new witchcraft props developed by the Baidong Academy.
Saul was still interested in some of these goods. Especially the Compressed Traveling Bag II, in addition to being twice as spacious, it could also be used with some special sealing props to place lifeforms in it.
It was just that the new generation of compressed traveling bags could only be purchased by traveling to Archaeust City, where Baidong Academy was located, and the airships were only advertised to the public.
After all, that thing was too expensive for Harry, an ordinary person, to keep.
But although Saul didn’t purchase anything, he still talked to Captain Harry for a few moments and implicitly asked about the recent views of several powers on the collapse of the wizard tower.
Although Harry was just an ordinary person, he had traveled extensively and had heard some news.
The two were taking a slow walk on the deck.
“…… Originally, the major forces around were a bit dumbfounded, but since Lord Golzatha suddenly showed up on the battlefield with his men and directly killed two of Knuckles’s second-order wizards, I haven’t heard of any movement.” Captain Harry recounted enthusiastically.
He tries to look generous and proper, but he still raises his hands respectfully to the point of being a bit formal.
“Everyone knows by now that Lord Golzatha has been promoted to Third Order Wizard. Now those who had bad intentions are worried about being liquidated afterward.”
Speaking of this, Harry carefully asked again, “Lord Saul, do you think Lord Golzatha will start a great purge?”
Who knew that Saul did not respond to him.
“Lord Saul?” Harry called out again.
But Saul still didn’t move.
Only then did Harry cautiously raise his head and realized that Saul was staring in one direction of the ship, a slight chill seeming to rise out of his eyes.
“Harry.” Saul turned his head slightly sideways, but kept his gaze fixed forward, “Is this ship of yours …… resistant to a beating?”
“Da, lord?” Harry stammered, instantly feeling his legs tremble and he could no longer stand.
Sorry it’s late today, I had a family visit and didn’t have much time to write. Chapter two soon.
