Chapter 417.

Chapter 417 – Fade Away the Clothes
Although Kagome was disgruntled, she could only move to clean up the lab table. There were a lot of things she had to re-prepare.

Halfway through packing, she bit her lip and said to Saul, “Soul toxin is something Billy worked on, and my Alpha is no weaker!”

With that said, though, she was still a little frustrated.

“It’s that I haven’t researched an antidote yet. Alas, my mentor says that then it can’t be used easily in experiments.”

For a power that was difficult to control, it was definitely something to be used with caution.

Sol also understood Mentor Guido’s concerns.

He turned his head and looked towards the corner at the end of the room.

There, there were two spherical glass containers of different sizes, deadlocking the Alpha Toxin and the weakened version of the Beta Toxin.

For perhaps a long time, they would have to float there silently.

“Well, it looks like there’s no reason for me to stick around.”

Saul closed his notes, after all, he was only assisting Korrie in her research, and now that Korrie’s project had been called off, he had no choice but to go back to the second storeroom even if he wanted to continue his part.

That was his territory.

“But you guys are researching soul toxins, are you trying to apply them somewhere as well?” Although he was a bit sorry for Korrie, Saul pretended to ask casually as he packed up his things.

“My mentor majored in the poison attribute after all, and now that the resurrection experiment has seen the light of day, he’s begun to specialize back into his original subject. I haven’t done a detailed understanding of soul toxins yet, so when I take a look at it, I might even be able to use it in our research topic.”

Korie scowled at Sol, clearly not really planning on giving up on her adhesive improvement experiments.

And so that night, the summoning pen in Saul’s second storeroom moved.

The huge quill then flew up and landed a few lines on the paper below.

“Locked up by Mentor Guido for surprise research. Without ten days and half a month, I don’t think I’ll be able to get out. Luckily, I exchanged the summoning pen in the registration room beforehand. This is how we will contact each other from now on.”

“A transmission pen can also be exchanged?” Saul was a bit surprised.

He didn’t often go to the registration room.

He used to be too poor, but now he was too broad.

Now he basically takes whatever materials he needs from the storehouse. If the second storeroom doesn’t have it, he goes to the first storeroom to get it.

Although the first storehouse under Heywood’s control was not as valuable as the second storehouse, it could not help but face all the tutor apprentices, and all kinds of materials were very complete.

Saul gripped the summoning pen that was ready to return to its original position, turned it around twice in his hand, threw it into the compressed traveling bag, and put it back in a few seconds.

“Not bad, I’ll apply for one too.”

After the experiment with Korrie was transferred into underground mode, Saul took to the surface to calibrate the compatibility of the Blue Water Vibranium and the Delayed Rejection Potion, and behind his back, he was still digging into the internal information of the Blue Water Vibranium.

Just a few days down the line, there still wasn’t much progress.

Another night, after putting down the materials in his hand, Saul looked towards the shelf where Senior Byron was.

“Senior is in recovery, or else it would be good to call him out to discuss it together.”

Byron had researched the Gray Matter Potion all by himself, and his attainments in this area were definitely deeper than his.

Saul pinched the bridge of his nose, these days he had been working back-to-back again, he hadn’t slept for a few days, completely relying on meditation to support him, his brain was a little numb.

He had to take a good rest tonight to recuperate, then tomorrow he would go out of the tower to bring out Agu’s conscious body and stuff it into the container to cooperate with him to continue the experiment.

Saul tried the gray matter potion himself. Originally, he wasn’t too keen on taking this step until he had to, but now that the experiments had come to a standstill, he had no choice but to open up a new direction.

He cleaned himself briefly, and then lay down on the single bed to get a good night’s sleep.

However, this sleep today was destined to be impossible.

In the first half of the night, Saul was still under the influence of Penny, dreaming of “the sky is the oldest, the earth is the oldest, and he is the oldest”, when he suddenly felt a trace of abnormality.

Saul’s eyes rolled a little, but did not open.

At this moment, Penny also whispered in his mind, “Brother Saul, someone is approaching!”

“Got it, don’t startle the visitor yet.”

Saul’s brain cleared up in a flash and continued to remain in his sleeping position.

A spirit had just entered the second vault from the mezzanine. It just missed and went back though.

“Is it someone trying to make sure they’re doing something? Will he come in if I pretend not to notice?”

With the protection of the bronze gate, ordinary people couldn’t enter without permission. And there were only three people that Saul currently knew of who could get through the mezzanine and into the storage room.

One was Tower Master Golza, but there was absolutely no need for him to try as he had just done, as Saul couldn’t spot him at all.

The second was Heidi, although she definitely didn’t dare to sneak up on Saul again, but it was possible that she just came to snoop.

Three …… is Yura.

After the incident with Senior Byron, Saul could feel that she was concerned about her reaction.

After so many days, she wouldn’t come to test herself again, would she?

Saul wasn’t worried about anything else, but Senior Byron on the shelves definitely couldn’t be discovered.

Right now the other party was just peeping, if he entered the storehouse, Saul would have to get up and startle the other party away even if he exposed his sharp senses.

But next, he heard Penny fly to his ear and say, “Brother Saul, he went back again. I’ll go take a look.”

Penny flew upward into the ceiling overhead and into the mezzanine.

Saul was uneasy about Penny entering the mezzanine as a butterfly, and quickly took the initiative to soul out and follow.

Realizing that Saul had also followed, Penny immediately flew over to report.

“Brother Saul, she didn’t come in and ran into the depths of the mezzanine.”

Saul didn’t immediately chase after her, but instead looked into the eyes above his head.

These eyes had pulled him into the illusion last time he was in the mezzanine and tried to invade his consciousness platform.

However, it came out unsuccessfully and was swallowed up by the stars on the periphery of Sol’s consciousness platform.

After that, as soon as they locked eyes with Saul they ……

immediately averted their gazes, fearing that Saul wouldn’t be able to realize that they were spying.

Although the attitude of these eyes now became very strange, but at least they wouldn’t actively block or harm him.

Saul and once again with Penny to confirm the direction of the people immediately, and then carefully swim over there.

The mezzanine was dark and covered in chaotic foggy impurities. Every now and then there was an eye floating around.

All in all, it would be a good place to hide if one wanted to, as long as one didn’t get caught in those eyes.

Saul carefully hid his figure with all kinds of darkness and impurities, and advanced towards the depths of the mezzanine.

It didn’t take long before he saw a familiar black silhouette.

“Yura? Does she usually move around the mezzanine as well?”

Just as Saul was wondering, he suddenly saw Yura’s black silhouette reveal her original appearance a little bit.

Saul had seen Yuura reveal her original appearance before, but it was just that once.

After that, Yura almost always kept her black silhouette posture, apparently she was more used to her own appearance.

This time, she not only faded the black silhouette, but also peeled it off like an outer skin, casually tossing it aside and letting it float in the darkness.

Without the black shadow covering her, Saul was finally able to see Yura’s expression.

The other party looked at the black mass of skin, obviously extremely disgusted.

“Yuura’s black silhouette was made from Ivan’s body. Well, it seems that Yura doesn’t appreciate the sacrifice of the Golza students.”

Sol was now looking at Yura with three parts disgust, three parts scrutiny, and the rest of his emotions carefully hidden under a polite smile.

“She made a point of coming over here, first to see if I was asleep, and then to molt deeper into the mezzanine ……”

“Molt?” As Sol thought of this, he suddenly flipped inside the Death Witch’s diary from the other day.

“Molt? Molting?”

“Resentment fades into clothing?”

It dawned on Saul that he finally realized who the fourth paragraph of the diary’s forward warning corresponded to!

It was finally earlier today.
