Kaz and Rum were also deeply touched by Golza’s authoritarianism.
Kaz also knew that what Yura said was likely to happen, and he stroked his beard, unable to speak.
The room suddenly went quiet.
Then a knock on the door sounded somewhat abruptly.
“Knock knock knock!”
“Mentor Rum, this is Saul. Mentor Golza sent me to find you.”
The three people in the room glanced at each other, somehow suddenly remembering the scene a few days ago when Byron came over.
In the end, it was Rum who stuck his head out of the fat.
“Come in!”
Not a moment later, Saul came out from behind the heavy partition curtains with a polite smile on his face and greeted the three of them.
“Mentor Katz, Mentor Rum, good morning!”
The corners of his mouth rose a few more degrees as he looked over to the black silhouette sitting on the lab bench with its feet naturally hanging down.
“Mrs. Yura, you’re here too.”
Yura raised her neck proudly and snorted coldly, “Hmph, almost didn’t get you killed.”
Sol froze, “What’s wrong?”
He had spent a fair amount of time with Yura, and didn’t tense up in the face of the other’s sudden harshness.
Yura jumped down from the table and walked over to Sol, her black head looking him up and down.
“Why did you erase the spirit mark I left on the puppet?”
Sol spread his hands helplessly, “It wasn’t me, it was the elf, Mrs. Yura. How could I possibly have the ability to erase your imprint? Besides, it was the elves who did it, and your mentor told you about it, right?”
He joked with Yura with a relaxed demeanor, and although he couldn’t pick up the feedback of the other party’s demeanor, he could detect that the other party seemed to be a bit more relaxed as well, from the sense of her gaze that fell on him.
Judging from the expressions of the several tutors, they were also interested in the Elven Valley. However, I don’t know if it was because they were afraid of the elves’ contamination, or if Golza had given an explanation, they didn’t ask in detail.
Mentor Kaz walked behind Sol with his back hand, “A few days ago, Byron submitted a gray matter potion. Sol, you are usually close to Byron, do you know anything about this potion?”
Sol turned his head to look at Kaz and nodded curtly, “I know that Senior Byron researched this potion. It is said to enhance the soul, but I happened to be going out at the time and didn’t study it closely. However, when I came back, I heard Instructor Golza say that the Gray Matter Potion is similar in efficacy to the Blue Water Vibranium Potion that you and Instructor Rum developed, and that it comes from the same source.”
Sol turned again to Mentor Rum, who was taking up more and more space, wondering if he would one day fill up the entire room.
“However, I still don’t understand the exact effects of Blue Water Potion and Gray Matter, and this time I’m actually here because Mentor Golza instructed me to come and learn.”
Rum had been in a good mood lately, and he said with a smile, “You are now capable of studying and exploring with us, it’s not considered learning. We also heard from the tower master that the lab will call on you in the future.”
Saul continued to be modest for a couple of moments.
Mentor Katz was however a bit anxious, “Actually, I also wanted Byron to join the Blue Water Spirit’s experiments as well, he completely relied on himself to create a potion similar to ours. However, he suddenly applied to go out the other day …… Saul do you know why he was in a hurry to go out? I was going to take him to meet the tower master.”
Sol felt Yura’s eyes fall on his face again.
But he didn’t show any difference, still looking at Mentor Kaz, he smiled bitterly and said, “I’m not sure. I happened to see Senior Byron leave the day I returned from the Elven Valley. But he didn’t say anything to me, he just hit the ground running. I actually have something to look for him, waiting for him to come back.”
Kaz knew that it was possible for third level apprentices to be delayed for a few months sometimes when they were out on a mission, but the tower master had already given a deadline for the experiment, so if Byron really did come back after a few months, then he definitely wouldn’t be able to join the resurrection experiment. He shook his head and the folds of his face sighed softly, “Let’s hope he comes back sooner rather than later.”
Yura was already impatient to hear about Byron, she sat back down on the lab bench and wiggled her legs, “Let’s discuss business. Thor, I heard that you’ve developed a new program as well. I’d like to see what you, who is so highly regarded by Golza, can accomplish in just a few years.”
“Actually, my program is supposed to be auxiliary as well. Mentor Golza asked me to see if I could use my program along with the Blue Water Vibranium.”
Rum frowned less approvingly at first-his forehead bulged with a large chunk of fat.
“Two independently developed and perfected potions, forcibly blended together, may instead be counterproductive.”
Saul naturally wouldn’t be too forceful in the face of a few mentor-level figures, and he smiled, “That’s why I’m just trying it out first ……”
Youra waved her hand, “There’s still a lot of room for improvement in the Blue Water Spirit, and we don’t have that much time to open new experiments. Little Sol, if you’re not too sure about your program, it’s better to take the initiative to tell Golza to give up ……”
“Or maybe you should look at it first?” Sol interrupted Yura somewhat rudely, a bit of youthful arrogance evident on his face.
An apprentice sorcerer who was considered a genius could usually be humble, but would never freely accept others’ questioning of his research.
Rum and Kaz glanced at each other and simultaneously smiled and shook their heads, probably still sighing simultaneously in their minds, “Young people.”
Since the Tower Master’s beloved disciple expressed his desire to try, the several people naturally wouldn’t stop Saul.
However, when Saul really told the entire process thought of the Delayed Rejection Potion, the room fell into silence again.
Yura, as the object being studied, was in the best position to judge whether an experimental program had any operability.
When she finished reading the results of Saul’s experiment, she was silent for a long time before she suddenly murmured, “If you had been earlier ……”
Rum laughed out loud, “It’s not too late now, haha, it’s worthy of being the tower master’s favorite student, if you had appeared earlier, it’s estimated that the Witch Tower would have nothing to do with a few of our mentors right now.”
Kaz was the last to speak.
He had always been clear that Saul was good at soul research, but he didn’t expect that Saul would end up transforming on containers.
However, being able to discover the source of the repulsive reaction on a cleaned up corpse was not without his keen control of the spirit body.
It could be said that Saul had taken a completely different path from the crowd.
He hesitated for a moment, but still couldn’t help but ask, “Saul, how did you discover that a similar repulsive force that has the ability to distinguish on its own also exists within the corpse?”
Saul couldn’t say that it was because he would be actively sucked in by corpses when his soul was out of body, and thus suspected that there was some sort of ability to distinguish between spirits within mere bodies as well.
His soul was probably a bit special because of the reason he traveled through the world, and thus corpses were attractive to him.
On the flip side, Yura, who can’t stay in other people’s corpses, probably suffers from some sort of repulsive force.
After thinking about it, he finally could only say helplessly, “I just picked a path that no one had chosen to try after studying my mentors’ previous experimental programs.”
The expression on Mentor Kaz’s face was clearly disbelief, but he didn’t press the issue.
Saul was unwilling to say, so he couldn’t force the issue.
In the end, Rum raised his hand and patted his fat belly as he smiled and spoke, ”Since that’s the case, let’s not delay, let’s go find some new containers now and conduct a comparison experiment. Let’s see if the Blue Water Spirit and Sol’s Delayed Rejection Potion can complement each other or not!”
