Chapter 330 – Seeing the Light, Not Speaking the Light

Chapter 330 Seeing Beyond the Point, Not Speaking Beyond the Point

“Yes, Master Pig …….” Herman struggled to open his mouth.

“Can’t even speak clearly?” Saul took two steps back and looked at the body that was moving again in front of him, “What do you feel now?”

“Like Zuno paralyzed.”

Saul reacted, “Like a spell?”

Herman nodded slowly.

Saul picked up Herman by the hand and lifted the man toward the lab table.

“Since you can’t even bend your tongue and your movements are slow, it’s better for me to move with you first, and for you to work on strengthening your control over your body yourself.”

He set Herman down on one side of the table, as if he had set up a plastic mannequin there.

“I’ve gone through the records of the experiments on soul infusion. The containers there didn’t appear to be as difficult for you to control as they were. I need to check again to see what went wrong. You need to keep me informed if you have any changes, good or bad.”

“Yes, Master Pig …….”

Saul rubbed his forehead, “Well, this is just a trial experiment of mine, it’s normal that it’s not as good as Mentor Rum’s and their years of research. No headache …… no headache ……”

Just like that, by the next day, when Hayden dragged his bruised body to Saul’s second storage room, he saw the tall man following him.

“Who is he, my lord?” Hayden immediately tensed up because she didn’t know what the other person was and whether or not Saul would have told him about his situation.

After a night of trying to break in, Herman was able to walk on his own without Saul dragging him around.

It’s just that she can’t straighten her tongue yet.

At this moment, his black-clothed face was turned sideways at Hayden. Hayden’s address to Saul gave him a feeling of blackness.

“My lord.” He shouted after him.

It was very clear, no ambiguity!
Saul gave Herman a sideways glance and acquiesced to the address.

He then motioned for Hayden to come in and said casually, “He’s similar to you, you can call him …… Hull.”

It wasn’t quite appropriate to address Herman directly, and Saul reacted quickly by removing a pronunciation.

“Hull?” Although Hayden was still expressionless, his eyes looking at Herman were no longer as wary as they had just been.

She even could be described as enthusiastic and came over, “So we’re in the same situation, are you just entering a new vessel now? I see you’re not moving too well yet.”

Herman gazed down at Hayden’s beautiful face, and it was immediately clear that this was Saul’s lab assistant within the wizard.

However, he didn’t realize it was even such a beautiful assistant ……

“Yes.” Herman slowed his pace, not wanting to be side by side with Hayden.

Hayden, however, followed suit and slowed down, seemingly with the intention of taking care of the mobility-challenged “Hull.”

She also seemed a little more enthusiastic than usual.

“When did you enter the vessel?”

Herman looked at Saul, who was walking ahead of him, as if his master didn’t mind him interacting with the others, and responded as naturally as he could.

“Yesterday.”

“What?” Hayden flinched, “You’ve adapted so quickly then. I just spent the first three days in the container and couldn’t even move.”

Hearing this, Saul immediately stopped and turned around to ask Hayden, “You couldn’t move for three days after you entered the container?”

He looked mostly at the various reactions of the spirit body after it had already entered the container, and indeed ignored the state when it had just entered the container.

And on the lab notes, this was often glossed over.

Hayden nodded.

Saul looks at Herman again and thinks to himself, “My own soul corresponding to my own body is really quite different after all.”

Upon entering the vault, Saul immediately began to make notes on the status of the two men. He found that although Hayden’s performance was better than Herman’s in all aspects, Hayden had already been in this body for nearly a month, while it was only Herman’s second day. In this comparison, it was actually Herman who was much ahead of Hayden.

“So, even though it has turned into a corpse, the physical body is still very receptive to its own soul. Moreover, the original body doesn’t require the opposite gender for the original soul to enter.”

Saul thought as he watched the two who continued to test various values in the lab.

Suddenly he realized a strange phenomenon.

Hayden always seemed to be taking care of Herman intentionally or unintentionally.

It’s like a high strung beauty suddenly starts licking a face paralyzed hemiplegic.

Saul suddenly figured out the reason for this and laughed softly, “So Hayden, who spends a lot of time in a corpse room, actually reacts this way when faced with the opposite sex?”

But Saul misunderstood Hayden.

He secretly took care of Herman, not entirely because of the misunderstanding that “Hull’s” soul was a woman, but also a very important point: he thought that the two of them shared the same illness.

He understands Hull’s embarrassment, but in the spirit of seeing through it, he only hints at it in his actions.

“Look, I know you’re originally female, and I’m actually not really a woman.”

But it didn’t occur to him that Herman was, in fact, a man.

Hopefully he’ll never know.

On the fifth day after Herman entered his body, Hayden took a day off because he needed to go back to Mentor Rum to re-enforce the connection between his body and the vessel.

Saul then planned to use this opportunity to get Herman’s next experiment – he was going to get Herman into one of the other body containers.

After making other preparations, Saul carefully cautioned Herman, “For bodies that are not your own, you may feel a strong repulsive force when you enter, don’t resist it yourself, but give immediate feedback if you encounter suspected contamination or alienation.”

“Yes,” Herman replied immediately, and after a moment, added in a whisper, “…… Master.”

Saul let out a light chuckle and immediately began recording in his hands, “Almost seven days before the tongue, an end organ, can be controlled more flexibly.”

The soul transfer experiment then began.

Saul used a defensive sorcery spell formation that had the ability to lock the soul and prevent the energy from escaping to trap himself, Herman and the other two corpses in the spell formation.

He then began to transfer Herman’s spirit body into his own arm first through his arm that had the ability to draw in and output spirits.

During this time he noticed that the container did not create adhesion.

“Am I the only one who gets extremely strong suction when entering other containers? The corpses have no attachment to the souls that originally belonged to them, so why would they prevent my soul from leaving their bodies?”

Saul’s research into his spiritual body was bound to be on the agenda, except that he was afraid that the specialness of his spiritual body came entirely from the experience of traveling through or the enchantment of his diary.

Compared to them, researching resurrection might be a bit easier.

Herman’s spirit body was sucked out by Saul without incident, but failed when it entered the first male body.

The other body was very resistant and had a magnetic force quality to it, and the closer it got, the stronger this repulsion became.

Saul was able to resist the continuation of this repulsion, but Herman’s conscious body was vaguely tending to collapse under the squeezing of the two forces.

Saul stopped in a hurry.

“Fortunately, I have prepared another corpse.” Saul looked at the female corpse next to him, “Try this one again.”

Saul injected a little bit of Herman’s conscious body into the corpse of the female next to him.

This time, the repulsive force on the corpse was much smaller, but it was still there, and there was no suction force like the one directed at Saul.

But because the repulsive force was small this time, Herman finally resisted the pressure from both sides and burrowed into the female corpse intact.

“Now this situation is rather like soul infusion.” Saul did not reveal a happy expression as he reached out and inverted the pre-prepared hourglass to start timing.
